Customers say: True professional

"The crew came on time and worked steadily throughout the day to remove a very large tree from a fairly small lot. Everyone was polite and respectful. Taking down a tree this size was not a simple job, but these guys really know what they're doing! They cleaned up the area thoroughly when they were finished. Now I don't have to rake leaves this year. Thanks, guys!"

"Marino and his crew started the job of felling 3 large spruce trees and grinding down a total of 8 tree stumps at 9am. They worked extremely hard; even while it was lightly raining later that day. The crew finished up around 9 hours later. The most impressive thing about the crew was not only finishing such a massive job in one day but their eagerness to please. Afterwards they made certain that all branches and tree trunks were taken away. I would hire Oasis again in a heartbeat. Very reasonable price as well."

"Steve came out and did an excellent job. He actually cut up the remainder of a tree that I dropped and hadnâ t gotten back to finish without asking! I had 16 stumps and he got it done in 2.5 hours - I have 6 more trees to drop and he will definitely be the one I call to remove the stumps! Highly recommend his work."

"Called Trees As You Please to obtain quote for removal of large Ash Tree in backyard adjacent to home and patio. They came out the same day and provided a very reasonable verbal quote on cost of removal. Written contract was emailed within a few days. The contract was signed that weekend and emailed back on a Saturday Morning. Within 2 days, Monday, Trees As You Please arrived on site and down came the tree. Once tree was down they cut it up, chipped some and hauled what they couldn't chip away. The tree was located within a flower bed surrounded my concrete curbing. The site was left clean, very minimal damage to flowers surrounding tree, 31" diameter pretty large, and no damage to concrete curbing. They were polite, professional, knowledgeable, clean, and prompt. We will definitely use Trees As You Please again."

"I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my experience with Dorshak from start to finish. We had a large project (four trees removed, plus stump grinding, and five additional trees trimmed) and called several local companies to get quotes. Within two days of my call to Dorshak, Myron, the owner, came to my house to inspect the trees and give me a quote. He was polite, friendly, and patiently answered all my questions. Myron handed me a quote before leaving that day, and I was surprised to see that his price was significantly more affordable than those of the other companies I had contacted. The other thing I greatly appreciated was that Dorshak gave me several options within the quote: amounts were listed for if I chose to have stumps ground or not, if I chose to have the stump grindings hauled away or not, etc. The work itself was perfect. All four of the trees were removed without a trace. No branches or sticks were left in my yard, and it truly looked like the trees had just vanished while I was gone at work that day. The workers must have meticulously walked my yard and picked up the sticks. The trees that were trimmed were left looking healthy with no visible dead limbs. I worked with Dorshak during a very busy tree season when many people were having dead ash trees removed, so I was scheduled out a few months, but this schedule was clearly communicated to me ahead of time and throughout the process. The workers always showed up as promised and completed their work quickly. I would go with Dorshak again in a heartbeat, and if I ever have future work that needs to be done, I will be calling them without hesitation."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Muskego, WI

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
