That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "It could not have gone better. They arrived when they said they would, finished when they said they would and cleaned up all the debris. While they were working on the roof they found several 4x8 sheets of plywood that were severely damaged and replaced them with no impact on the timeline. Similarly, he discovered that the last contractor who worked on the roof installed tin flashing around the chimney instead of lead, and replaced the tin with lead. This required removing much of the siding near the chimney and reinstalling it after the flashing had been finished. This is the second major project Roger and his Thermalfit team have completed for us, and we will never use any other company for major work on our house."
