"I was very impressed working with this company. Communication was superb right off the bat. We went over the job in detail, and it was completed perfectly. The company is very professional and pays attention to every detail. The price was good too! They also cleaned the area thoroughly and my property looks exquisite. Hire this company with confidence. Thank you!"

Emergency services offered

"I am a single female, living in Medford, who had serious anxiety over hiring someone to come inside my home and move my old tv console out and assemble my new electric fire place. Chris and Christian are literally the nicest, most professional, personable, hard working people that I have ever hired. They are licensed, have all their permits to operate. These guys are total gems and I will absolutely be using them again. Don't pass these guys up. Very good guys. The kind of people that you want to hire and work with again. My dog Daisy even loved them :) "

Small jobs welcome

"In July 2025, ReSupply sent a contracted driver to pick up sofas from my house. I had contacted Goodwill for the pick-up, but they contract with ReSupply. Apparently, ReSupply uses contracted drivers. I told the driver, several times, he and his team could take apart the large sofa in order to get it up the stairs and out of my house. Instead, the contracted driver and his team "shoved" the sofa up the stairs and through doorways, causing significant damage to my carpet, walls, and 2 doors. I now have a bill for almost $8,700 in repairs to my home, and neither ReSupply nor the contracted driver have provided me with any compensation for the damage they caused."

"I claimed a deal for 50% off Junk Hauling and Removal up to 4 Cubic Yards. It turns out that my junk (mostly scrap wood that accumulated over 38 years, because the city won't take it) and landscape timbers didn't qualify due to the extra weight. However, Matt offered a generous discount for being an Angie's List member, which I gladly accepted. He loaded it all into his truck in approximately 30 minutes. I am very satisfied."

FAQs for waste, junk, building materials and debris removal and hauling projects in Nahant, MA

To throw out stained, broken, or infested mattresses or couches, call a junk hauler or take it to your local landfill yourself. If it’s infested with pests, you might want to call a pest control specialist near you. If you have infested furniture, there's a good chance you have an infested home, too.

Tipping furniture removal services is not mandatory, but it is a thoughtful way to acknowledge their hard work and professionalism. If you're pleased with the service, consider tipping junk haulers 5% to 10% of the total cost or $10 to $20 per worker. This is especially appreciated when the job involves heavy lifting, navigating stairs, or handling bulky items. Tipping not only rewards the workers for a job well done but also fosters a positive working relationship.

If your furniture is in good condition, you have a few options:

  • Donate to charities: Organizations like Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and GreenDrop often accept furniture donations and may offer free pickup services.

  • List online: You can list your items for free on local online marketplaces or community groups to find someone who needs them. Giving away your furniture not only helps you clear space but also benefits others in your community.

The cost to haul away junk depends on the haul’s size. A single item costs $60 to $150 to haul, with each additional item adding $20 to $40 to the total price. Hauling away a full truckload of trash or other junk will run $400 to $800.

Yes, some furniture retailers will haul away your old furniture when they deliver your new items. This service may be included in your purchase price or offered at a discounted rate. It's important to check with the store to see if they provide furniture removal and whether there are any requirements, such as a minimum purchase. Utilizing this service can save you time and effort in disposing of your old furniture.

In many cases, you can dispose of furniture in a dumpster, but regulations vary by location. Some areas prohibit items like mattresses or upholstered furniture due to environmental concerns. It's best to check with your local waste management authorities or dumpster rental company to understand what's allowed.
