"Overall BRR was a pleasure to work with. The project managers and contractors were extremely friendly, professional and attentive (and skilled!). This was my first renovation, so I would likely make some different choices if I did it again now that I have more knowledge (e.g. making sure that the subfloor was 100% level before laying a floating vinyl plank on it), but as a whole I am extremely happy with the outcome. The most impressive feat was the installation of the countertops. I live in a condo with narrow staircases so I was assuming they would have to be in multiple pieces, but the team came up with a creative solution to get the massive counters into my apartment and installed without having to cut them. They are seamless and gorgeous! I was also extremely impressed with the carpenter, Mike. He not only installed my kitchen cabinet doors, which was an intricate puzzle of ancient hinges, but he and his team built a storage cabinet for my parking space that is the envy of everyone in my complex. A simple thing, but very finely crafted. I ever have money again after this round of renovations, I will definitely hire BRR to work on my bathrooms!"

"Local Professionals come through: I had a water flow problem on the front center part of my roof that resulted in some of the sheathing under the overhang to dry rot. I also had a rain gutter with damage caused by a leaning tree. I called Roofmasters for a free quote. Johnathon explained the process and answered all my questions. Aaron arrived on-time for the quote on 8/27/2018. He explained what caused the dry rot and answered my questions regarding concerns I had about other areas of my roof. He put my mind at rest – telling me that my roof appeared to be in good shape except for the area that brought him there that day. I received the written quote on 8/31/2018 for the roof and gutter repairs and scheduled the work to be done on 9/14/2018. They called 30 minutes before arrival as promised. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves well. They even replaced a couple cracked tiles at no additional charge. They are a local company (Suisun City, CA) that obviously still takes pride in their work. This seems to be a trait that is in short supply these days. I’ll definitely call them again the next time I need help with my roof."

"Everybody was so helpful from the office staff to the evaluator who had the utmost patience and experience. He explained everything thoroughly and helped me make the best decision for my house and budget. The job involved new 30 yr shingles and conversion of an old tar and gravel portion of the roof as well as several new skylights & new gutters + replacement of several rotten roof areas. The roofing crew and supervisor were great and job finished on schedule. They were careful w/ plants & scrubs and cleanup was excellent. Not a single problem. As a side note I had a problem w/ racoon's or possums in my attic area. I had no idea who to call so I called Scudders and they came immediately and assessed the situation and started working on it. The only thing was communication. Needed a little more conversation over the phone to confirm arrival on first full work day. The sales rep showed up to lay down a plastic cover over a suspected leak and it held up during some very blustery rain. Over all excellent work but expensive."

The price and warranty were the best of the four quotes I received. The whole process was very smooth and I haven't had any problems with the system.  I'm very glad I chose them. <br /> They have a project status page that provided clear information at every stage.  When I emailed or called, they responded within 24 hours.  I contacted them based on customer reviews and their warranty policy.  The salesman was low key and honest.  He made it clear that there was a waiting list for installation so I knew it would take a few months.  In the end, it was faster than I expected.  They provided clear written plans and handled the city inspection completely.  The connection to PG&E quickly followed. <br /> I highly recommend them.  I have two important notes: <br /> - Be sure to get a clear picture of the schedule.  It's complicated and they may have a waiting list. <br /> - The initial quote on the phone was for a much bigger system than they were able to install.  They can only tell so much from a satellite image of the roof.  Their on-site inspection showed that my roof was more complicated and not ideal for solar.  The quote was adjusted down for a smaller system.  I understood that they were oversizing the system, so I wan't surprised.  Your roof may be simpler, but beware that this can happen. <br />"
