"Michael and his team are phenomenal. I really can't give enough praise to this company. I will use them for all my lawn care needs in the future.  <br> <br>They finished the job - hauling gravel from a carport, disposing of it, extending an existing irrigation system to that area and installing sod - in a single day, and they did an excellent job. When they encountered an issue with some concrete they found in the area, they let me know immediately and talked me through all the possible solutions and helped me find the best, most affordable fix. The lawn looks great.  <br> <br>At this point I was impressed, but what really struck me was how they followed up on the job afterwards. Scott, who installed the irrigation system, has been stopping by the house to check the moisture levels of the sod on a weekly basis and adjust the sprinklers as needed. Then a couple weeks after the sod installation I had a fence installed in the area, and the fencing crew trampled all over a section of the new sod, turning it into a muddy mess, despite my warnings. I was so upset, and Scott and Michael came to the rescue. They answered my frantic emails immediately, and right away Scott checked to make sure the irrigation system wasn't damaged. Now he's bringing his team by the house to fix the sod free of charge.  <br> <br>Between the quality of work done. the responsiveness, the follow-ups, and the EXCELLENT customer care, I am decidedly a lifetime Commonwealth Landcare customer. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"Bartlett Tree Service sent a certified arborist to my home to assess my situation and provide a quote.  Their arborist, Greg Crews was punctual, professional and gave me a detailed tutorial on the health of a tree we were trying to save, how to best protect the tree when we paved over some of the tree roots and gave a very competitive bid to treat a diseased portion of the tree.  While I did not end up contracting Bartlett to do the work, I was very impressed with the their service and I would not hesitate to use them in the future. <br />"

"I had all of the front yard trees pruned. These trees have been neglicted for years, so they were in rough shape. LG Scott came out and gave an estimate, he knew more about what I needed to do and not do than I did so I pretty much let him do what he thought was needed. His crew showed up as promised the trees look good and the clean up was fantastic not os much as a leaf or a gum ball when they were done. Good job all around. I highly reccommend them <br />"

"1) We hired them to help with a drainage issue they had. Their solution was no where close to what was needed to solve the problem. I had to hire someone else to correct the problem. 2) I had their lawn service for 3 years and cancelled because when we started my lawn was all new sod and after 3 years it had weeds and wire grass. "Rod came out and gave a free estimate on a Thursday afternoon. I thought it was a little pricy and asked about the senior and Angie's List discounts, both which he gave us (15% off). He was vague about what kind of mulch he was going to use, so I requested the 12-month color guarantee type in dark brown wood. I asked how many cubic yards of mulch and how many labor hours since his estimate was only a total dollar amount, given by Angie's List Messages. He and a helper arrived Saturday morning (2 days later), weeded and did other yard work, then that afternoon came back from lunch with a trailerful of mulch, so we have only his word that this is what he used. He did the work in 7 hours, which includes going to get the mulch. He was flexible when we asked him to put mulch around trees, which I guess he didn't expect (he thought he was only going around bushes), but he did this without expecting more money. He asked questions along the way, like did we want dead, unsightly bushes removed or left alone. (We had a creeping ivy that was taking over the entire yard and choking many of the bushes.) His quote also included disposing of all trash/extras. I'm a relatively new, disabled widow, my husband used to keep up with the weeding, but my son, who works full-time and is also working on his bachelor's degree, just couldn't keep up with the yard aside from mowing. We are very grateful that the yard and flower beds look SO much better now, and Rod was easy to work with. We would certainly use his services again."

"Hawthorne Lawn Care got me out of a full weekend (or two) of nonstop yardwork to get ready for Thanksgiving guests. They cleared out old and dead brush, edged the fence line, trimmed the bushes, planted flowers and generally made the yard look like someone cared about it. Unfortunately, everything looked so good that no one believed me when I tried to credit for their hard work. <br /> They were there when they said they would be, performed beyond expectations and were easy to work with. Considering the time it would take me to do everything they did the price was quite a bargain. I highly recommend them for all of your yard needs. <br />"

"We had a pest control company for years and then they sold out to TruGreen. So we were turned over to TruGreen for pest control. For the 4 months or so that we've had them, they have been courteous and responsive when we call them. We have to call an 800 number for service. However, they have put bug repellant granules all over my child's playhouse and slide. Of course, then I did not want him to play on it since it was covered in chemicals. We had ants trying to take over our mailbox as their nest. We called them and they came out within 48 hours to put down granules and that was successful. They told us that the ants were coming from our trees and shrubs. They offered for us to pay additional to have our trees and shrubs treated. I declined. I expect that a pest control company should be able to control the pests in our home without me paying additional to treat my yard. Now we have an ant problem in our kitchen. They treated the exterior 6 days ago and it's just getting worse. When I canceled their service, they were very courteous and canceled my service promptly."
