"Some of the boards of my fence were broken or were in bad shape and some of the poles started to lean. I contacted Allegheny Fence Constructions for getting a quote. Mark stopped by and went through my concerns and provided me feedback on what was needed to be done. He took note of everything and a few days later he sent me an estimation. I accepted the quote and they ordered the boards to be replaced. Within a couple of weeks we had scheduled a day for doing the repairs. The day of the repairs their team showed up on time and got everything setup to do the repairs. The work took about the whole day to replace the broken boards and realign the poles adding more concrete to make them more stable. At the end they showed me all that was repaired and everything looked good."

"The guys at Oakmont Automotive were great! I originally took my car to another place where they told me that they could fix my exhaust for 700, then when I took it back after I received my tax return (1 month later). They added another $500!! I found Oakmont Auto on Angie's list and they fixed everything for $752, which I found fair for all of the work I needed done. They explained everything to me and didn't use the fact that I'm a woman to their advantage. I will absolutely be back!"

"The exhaust system on my 2005 Hyundai Accent had become increasingly noisy for about a two week period. I got under it with my iPhone and video taped from front to rear. Transferred recording to PC and saw that the flexible portion of the center pipe was rotted. I went online and found out what that part would cost me. Then I decided to join Angie's List to find a recommended shop to fix it. There wasn't much for my area for muffler repair, so I did a search for auto repair in general. That's when I discovered Bridgeville Automotive Inc. They had dozens of raving reviews and so I gave them a call. Jim, the owner, answered and said that they had a cancellation that day and that I could bring it over right away. <br /> I never mentioned that I had inspected the system or that I thought I knew the problem and the cost of the part. I just said that there was a new noise under the car. Sure enough, after he had examined the car, he said the flex pipe was leaking and his estimate for replacement was spot on. I then agreed to let him fix it and he provided me a ride back home. <br /> When Jim called me to tell me that the car was finished, the price was the same as his quote. He then asked me if I needed a ride back to his shop. When I got there he brought out the old part and showed me the damage and explained the the remainder of the exhaust was in good condition. He also saw a check engine light on the dash and said that it was a Tranny Temp Sensor and not related to the exhaust system. <br /> The car ran like new on the trip home, quite as a mouse. I found that every step of the process was conducted professionally and fairly. I will definitely return for future service and I have already recommended this shop to family and friends. I am also glad that I joined Angie's List. <br />"

"My husband and I had a Stickley table that was showing signs of wear with light scratches and discolored wood. We also had 4 chairs purchased with the table. ... 2 years later, we purchased 2 additional chairs. The company had changed the stain color to a darker cherry so they didn't come close to matching. Grimes stripped the table and all six chairs, along with the 2 leaves for the table, and refinished everything in a beautiful satin-finish dark cherry. Now, all pieces are identical and we could not be happier with the results. Grimes may not be the least expensive option for refinishing but, they are the best and are very knowledgeable. The craftsmanship was perfection. We could not have purchased a new dining set of this quality for anywhere near what we paid for the work. We love it."
