"Would go lower if possible. I had several windows that needed replacing. After repeated phone calls, promised dates, not showing up, and finally being over an hour late for an agreed upon time (after I called their manager and complained again). The windows are being replaced. I hate giving harsh reviews but most people can't wait a month to get windows replaced! I simply cannot offer any level or recommendation for Big River Glass! Jeff , the service guy, indicated they had new management I hope for them it is successful."

Lemi-Duit is a team of experienced and highly skilled tradesmen and artisans. Each member of the team contributes a unique expertise to the whole. While we are still small enough to be personal and give individual attention to our clients, we offer the advantages of a larger company as a result of the diversity of our team. \n\nWe feel that our old fashioned American dream of the small town contractor doing business with friends and neighbors sets us apart from the crowd. All of our work is overseen by our owner, Sam Gill, and is fully guaranteed to be to your satisfaction. We solicit your ideas, and strive to create a job plan that will deliver a finished product that will exceed your expectations, while staying within your established budget. Our mission is to develop ongoing relationships with our customers, and offer full spectrum maintenance services at an affordable, fair price, by working closely with homeowners to solve maintenance problems, and fulfill remodeling and renovation dreams in a climate of trust and confidence. We also try to convince our clients to go green whenever possible, as we want to eventually become a totally green company.\n\nTrust and quality are the most important factors in choosing a contractor. Once you’ve collected several bids, it’s time to start comparing them. When making your final decision, you’ll want to choose a contractor that not only provides the best bid in terms of money, but also one that you feel is right for the job. There are advantages to choosing the up and coming contractor who is building a reputation, gaining clients, and seeking referrals for potential clients. A newer contractor is often more conscientious and works harder in order to establish his reputation and develop a good client base. As contractors, we work hard to ensure that our bids are competitive, while at the same time being realistic when it comes to high quality materials and costs. There is a fine balance between a good bid and a bid that looks good on the surface, but does not cover the occasional unexpected expense that comes up during the job - and we take pride in achieving this balance.\n\nDependability is key to the success of any construction project, and our reputation is based upon dependable service, attention to detail, and the responsibility of a reasonable and practical timeline. Our owner is always available to discuss any concerns you may have and resolve any issues that may arise.\n\nLemi-Duit combines traditional values with modern methods to create an environment in which goals are accomplished in a timely and professional manner. Our motto is “From rooftop to ground and all around,” and no job is too small or large for our consideration. Depending upon the complexity of your needs, a written estimate can usually be delivered to you within 24-48 hours of our initial meeting. A follow up meeting to discuss the estimate and include anything that may have been overlooked at the first meeting can be scheduled at your convenience.\n\nWe are licensed and fully insured for your protection.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WE SPECIALIZE IN INSURANCE RECOVERY <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<\n\nWe are LA State Licensed General Contractors (both residential & commercial) as well as a design/build consultant firm. What this means for our customers is that the LA State Licensing Board of Contractors (LASLBC) has done the regulation leg work that every home/business owner should do but sometimes simply over looks or just doesn’t know what questions to ask a contractor. The LASLBC regulates those of us with licenses by making us place them as certificate holders of our insurance. All certificate holders are sent notices when a company is late on a payment or is dropped by their insurance carrier. If we are dropped, we lose our license. The LASLBC requires we attend so many hours of pre-approved/certified continuing education every year along with our annual license renewal. Failure to comply with these strict guidelines results in rejection of the applicant’s license renewal. The LASLBC also checks references before issuing a license. Please feel free to call the LASLBC in Baton Rouge and ask about our standing in any of the above areas. They can be reached at 225.765.2301 or on line at http://www.lslbc.louisiana.gov/\n\n Gandolfi & Associates, Inc. license are as follows:\n\n Louisiana State Contractors Residential License # 86119\n\n Louisiana State Contractors Commercial License # 40728\n\n The largest and most influential trade organization in the building industry, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has worked for nearly 50 years to strengthen the professionalism of its members. NAHB is recognized in the building industry as the leading advocate of quality construction, responsible business practices, and reliable customer service. We are a long standing active member of the NHBA (National Home Builders’ Association) and our local chapter. Gandolfi & Associates, Inc. has acquired several distinguished certifications through the NHBA’s University of Housing: Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR). The Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation assures that your remodeler: • Has met NAHB prescribes standards of business practice. • Has a proven track record of successfully completing projects. • Has completed relevant educational requirements. • Pledges to uphold the CGR Code of Ethics. Please go to http://www.nahb.org/generic.aspx?genericContentID=8468 to see why you should insist on hiring a CGR for all your remodeling projects, interior & exterior. Additionally, we are a member of both the NAHB Remodelers Council and the local HBA Remodelers Council.\n\n We are also certified with the NAHB University of Housing as a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and the local green builders/remodelers HBA chapter the Crescent City Green Building Council. The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Certified Green Professional™ Designation teaches builders, remodelers and other industry professionals’ techniques for incorporating green building principles into homes - without driving up the cost of construction. Class work leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.\n\n Gandolfi & Associates, Inc. is also registered as an EPA Certified Firm & we have a full time EPA Certified Renovator on staff.
