I had about a 2 foot slope of land under the patio and a large slope for the path and step area. This work was done by 4 guys over two hot July days. The bobcat helped dig and rough level it. A lot of material was moved around along with at least 4 pallets of pavers and the blocks for the steps. "Mr. Do Carmo built a $30,000 paver patio for me less than three years ago. While building it I pointed out that we should add drainage but he assured me that it would not need it. Since I am not a contractor I took his word for it. Over the next two years, I reached out to him multiple times because the stones were sinking. He came by, free of charge, and re-leveled them and even added a drain pipe. After the drain pipe was added, I would go out during rain storms and see if it was working. To my surprise, it was not. After doing some research on my end I realized it was installed incorrectly so nothing was being drained. As of today, the far wall is slowly collpasing and coming apart.
