"I have extensive damage to my lawn due to moles, so I needed to have the whole lawn reseeded. I decided to have the lawn aerated with their two direction aerator and then seeded. They said your lawn would be thick come spring time and would have very few if any weeds. They were right, grass even grew in shaded areas that would never take shade seed. They left you with a small bag of sun seed and small bag of shade seed to touch up any areas that need some attention. Very happy with the results. I used a little of the shade seed in the spring and that was all."

"Jim was very responsive to our needs and listened carefully as we described how the run-off flowed down the poorly graded hill into our septic system and patio. He provided a very fair proposal, always arrived on time, provided multiple updates on the progress and did a very through and good job. Although the weather was very challenging, Jim worked through very limited windows of opportunity to complete the job quickly and efficiently. During the installation, it rained/snowed three times including a 2-4" downpour that left our backyard soaked (exacerbated by poor grading/drainage). Jim's equipment left significant ruts along the drainage trench as he completed the trench and filled with gravel, filter fabric and pipe installation. Riggs Landscaping did a fantastic job of repairing the ruts through backfill, grading and grass re-seeding. I was very satisfied with Riggs Landscaping quality of workmanship, customer service and professional competence. I would highly recommend Riggs Landscaping and will work with them in the future for other landscaping projects.
"

"They appear to be dependable. They're here every week and they show up with 2 big lawn mowers. They're here for about 10 minutes, it's a miracle how they finish the job quickly. I don't have any complaints from them. The pricing is reasonable compared to other companies. I just call them when the grass needs mowing and they give me a time for them to come. They show up when they want to show up and leave when they want to leave. You see the guys passing by and they smile and wave at you."

"We contacted The Tree People on January 16, 2015 to examine and quote on removal of a large diseased tree in our front yard. After keeping watch on this tree for about five years, it was apparent by this winter that the tree posed a risk of falling in severe weather. While the tree leaned away from our house, it could damage the surrounding healthy trees and landscaping if it fell.
Ron Dorr from The Tree People came out the same day that we called to examine the tree and look over the job. He emailed a detailed written quote the next day. The quote included a 25% winter season discount which Ron stated was to encourage jobs at this time of year. The quote compared favorably with others received so I emailed Ron to proceed contingent on him providing proof of insurance. We received their insurance certificate two days latter via email directly from the insurance company.
The Tree People's supervisor and crew of about eight men arrived as scheduled on the agreed date 23 Jan. The crew was equipped with hard hats, safety belts and lines and proceeded to work. They matted the access to the tree with plywood to protect our front lawn. They removed limbs first and then brought down the trunk in 3 - 4 ft sections so as to protect surrounding landscaping. The crew ground out the stump and cleaned up all of the debris.
The whole job took about 8 hours.

"
