"Cary and his Rose Hill crew were prompt.  Each member of his crew was polite, professional, and hard working.  We felt we received great value.  Cary, himself, was present for at least nine  hours.  All the unwanted vines were removed.  The trees were trimmed up and mulched. The flower beds were weeded.  I feel like I got great value, both in the services provided and the products (like mulch) which I purchased.  Cary was able to get another contractor to take out four stumps the same day as his crew was working.  I will definitely use Rose Hill Lawn Care again. <br />"

"My other half thought we should have lawn services performed on our yard a couple of years ago so he signed up. Services were for 6 applications during various times from March through October. In previous years, services were appriopriate and needed. We were making headway with our yard. With the bad drought last year, we thought that a couple of the applications might not really be necessary and would be a waste of our money. Without rain, most of this stuff doesn't really work. I called to cancel the May application. We were told all the reasons why we should continue with the treatments. (I had just finished a seminar with lawn specialists through our Master Gardener program and had concerns about some of the applications.) I insisted that the application be cancelled. Tru-Green was to make a note in the computer of my request. In a couple of days, the representative knocked on our door to say he was there to make the application. I informed him that I had cancelled that treatment a few days earlier. He was very polite and indicated there was no problem, just a miscommunication. When June came around, Tru-Green left an automated voice message that the application would be performed in a few days. I immediately called back and requested cancellation of this service. This one was for grubs with which we don't have a problem. I received the same song and dance about why the application should be done. Again, I insisted the application be cancelled. A few days later I found Tru-Green's sign in our yard regarding the application as I was backing out of our garage. I called the company and was told there were no notes in the system about a cancellation and was assured that we would not be charged. A week later, the bill arrived. We paid the bill and I wrote the company a letter outlining the circumstances and that there service was no longer required. It was not said, but I believe my calls were ignored because I go by a different last name. I thought the company's conduct was inappropriate and that they didn't really care about customer service and working with the customer. The company did follow-up with a call to my other half but wouldn't talk with me. <br />"
