Small jobs welcome

"Vinnie and crew came in and helped us create a driveway with additional parking areas. They had the machinery to remove old, rotted tree stumps that were causing our driveway to sink, and then excavated and reshaped the way the front of our home is presented by designing a beautiful crushed red stone driveway and built blue stone retaining walls that contrast and make everything pop with curb appeal. While they were here, they also pointed out a tree that was diseased and potentially threatening to collapse, so additionally the crew dropped the tree and hauled it all away. We cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and knowledge of how to expertly assess and correct any project inside or outside of a home."

"I’m so happy with the job the guys did. I had to have two tree stumps ground out before the work could be done. The tree stump guys broke my fence gate, and turns out they left one stump in the ground which I couldn’t see under the mess they left. Jason and his crew were able to get the stump out, remove an old slate patio, and create a beautiful new extended patio for me. I had jokingly pointed out a pile of slate chips in my backyard that were an eyesore. When they finished up that day, I saw that Jason had pushed down the pile of chips so they are no longer visible from my yard, and they fixed my fence gate! Such nice guys, all of them. Thank you for my beautiful patio!"

"Although it took longer than I expected, Tim Hoffman did an excellent job. He painstakingly vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned all the carpets in my home. Very easy to work with and plan to use again to clean my tile floors."

"Eckert Construction did a phenomenal job reroofing our 4,200 square foot barn. The old roof was sagging and leaking all over the place, now it is straight as an arrow and dry as a bone inside. Chris and his crew were here dawn to dusk to get the project completed as quickly as possible. They kept a very clean job site. I would definitely recommend Eckert Construction to anyone in the market for construction services."

"Severance Construction is professional, thorough and courteous. Bob will ensures that the job is completed to customer satisfaction. Bob has a very good eye toward making any adjustments along the way. For example, after the roofing job he noticed that the ridge vent was not placed correctly and redid that part. Post-job cleanup and disposal was thorough as well. Total satisfaction and highly recommend."

"Brian at County Wide paving was fantastic. He really helped me and my family out in a jam. We had permit expiring at the end of the week to install a driveway at my father in-laws house, and my wife and I live in Boston. We called County Wide and Brian and his team were able to give us a quote over the phone and start work the very next day. His team also came back the next week and installed a gate for us, which was a big help considering the gate was supposed to be there on the day of installation but was delayed at the hardware store. Brian was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. He sent me and my wife pictures of the progress and kept us up to date on everything. This was a great experience all around and we highly highly highly recommend for anyone looking to have a driveway put in."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"We live out of the area and have used Keith's Handyman many times to help with repairs to a family member's home. He has done roof repairs, door/framing replacements, and a bathroom remodel. We also hired him to do leaf and snow removal. All projects and services were great. His team is prompt, courteous, and takes pride in their work. We trust him to do the job right, and to do it on time and on budget. We highly recommend Ketih's Handyman and will work with them again."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in North-Granville, NY

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
