"Long story short, hire Raindrop Roofing NW if you have a roofing job you need done right, consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. By contrast: the outfit that replaced the roof on our Dutch Colonial for the previous owners cut corners on the steep mansard slopes. As a result, the new roof which should have lasted 25 years, started failing in three. (I’ve been repairing drooping shingles ever since and have had to learn more about roofing than I ever envisioned or desired.) A few years back we hired a local company with an Angie’s List A-rating to re-shingle the problem slopes, but we had to let them go when we caught them taking the same shortcuts that caused the first roof to fail. Their excuse: the manufacturer’s instructions were excessive. (Yet these were the same instructions they had previously agreed to follow.) It’s worth noting that roofing product warranties are almost always dependent on installation consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. Nonetheless, it took several years to find another company that would agree in writing to do so at an uninflated price. Given the above experiences, we worked closely with Raindrop and watched their work with an eagle eye. They did everything we asked for and beyond! This included making extensive improvements to the roof’s ventilation, especially in the steep mansard regions. Further, the Taylor Metal standing-seam system they applied to the garage and patio looks and functions great. Their final price was consistent with their estimate, and right where it should have been given the size of our house and the materials requested. (Unlike many of their competitors, Raindrop doesn’t gouge the homeowner for requesting standing-seam metal in addition to composite roofing.) Bottom line: next time you’re walking down a street in Portland, look for the abundant tell-tale signs of roof repairs – visible patches of replacement shingles. It’s perhaps not surprising that in this sustained building boom, quality installation at a fair price is hard to come by. I'm happy to report Raindrop is the welcome exception."

"I highly recommend RedBird Roofing. They were fast, reliable and quality of work was perfect. The project manager kept me informed and left the exterior of my house super clean, no nails, etc. if I ever need a roof RedBird has my vote 100%."

"JLV replaced our roof and gutters and also replaced our poorly functioning attic ventilation with Ridge Vents for exhaust at the top and Smart Vents at the bottom for air intake. Juan met with us patiently answering our many questions and addressing our concerns. His bid was competitive very detailed and charges itemized so we could see exactly what we were getting and what we were paying for. Office staff, Liz and Yaneth, were most helpful with timely replies to emails and phone calls, as well as keeping us informed when schedule changes needed to be made. We were very pleased with the conscientious crew and the completed project and were surprised at the extent to which the new ventilation system helped inside temps on the hot summer days. Juan's integrity and professional manner are real assets to this company."

"Quick to initially make content and once hired were quite prompt in arriving at the job site. Personable and went right to work. I appreciated that as I do not live in Oregon; my sister occupies the house. It was nice to get something scheduled and completed in a short time. The 2 workers did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. I would make one suggestion for the crew. It would be helpful for me at least to get an overview of what the project will look like once it gets done. It was a moss removal from my story and a half home. The majority of the work was accomplished using a moss killing spray which is going to take 2-3 months to eradicate moss from the roof. I expected more to have been scraped prior to the addition of the moss spray. A minor miscommunication for which I have at least half of the issue on me. That being said the moss is continuing its decline so the actual end result will be accomplished. Thanks guys."

"Had Rufus do our original roof using Certainteed Roofing...failed after 8 years. They did a great job first time so was easy to choose. Work was done and to my satisfaction details were completed"

"Javier and team did an amazing job with our roof replacement; very timely, efficient, and professional. New vents were installed, and they took the time to replace a couple beams that were rotted out. Including painting. We are very happy with our roof & highly recommend J Roofing LLC. Thank you, guys!"

"Jose J Bayardo Roofing, has performed roofing services for me over 10 years and has never disappointed. Jose and his excellent crew are always courteous and professional. His eye for detail and punctuality set him apart from the rest and in addition I have always felt he charges a fair price for a days work. I highly recommend Jose J Bayardo Roofing, for your roofing or any related handyman needs."

"Right from the start Alex put up a drone and inspected the roof, provided pic and gave me a bid. The work was completed in a reasonable time period and the work was done to my specifications and more."

"Giron Roofing: We just had a new roof put on (1/7/2021) by Giron Roofing and they did an excellent job! They sent a whole team of roofers out and stripped off two layers of old roof, inspected and replaced plywood as needed, covered it with waterproof membrane, and installed 40 year Malarkey Roofing products that are designed to withstand the wind. We opted for extra nailing and the 130 mph wind warranty. They did this all in one day and did finishing touches and final inspection (extra sealing around all new vents) in a couple hours on the second day!! All this and they had the best price of the 3 companies we got estimates from! We were nervous going into getting this done but I have to say we are so relieved that we went with Giron Roofing!!! Thanks to the Angies List recommendation. Steve Buckmaster, Troutdale"

"Outstanding. I discovered the leak late in the afternoon, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Filipe showed up in the morning, and said he would do the necessary work right away, as rain was expected again the next day. He replaced missing shingles, and caulked/shingled around two skylights. In addition, he re-set roofing nails and siliconed them in place."
