"James showed up right on time. My project is more complicated than I originally thought. He thoroughly inspected my house and presented several options. Should we decide to move forward with the project, we will not hesitate to hire Manges Electric"

"I highly recommend ESP Electrical. First, they were very responsive, calling me within a few days of my email (and this is unusual in today’s contractor industry). Second, they were able to set up a time to come out within a few days. Third, when the guys— Mike and Tony— arrived they were friendly and highly professional, even to the extent of putting a piece of cardboard under their van to keep any oil off the driveway (and the van wasn’t even leaking!). They assessed the situation quickly, discussed some configuration and pricing options with me, and then did a very nice job in a few hours. We are extremely happy with the outcome and I will definitely be asking them to do more work on our 1931 colonial in the near future. Again, highly recommended!"

"Tim is excellent! He was on time, extremely tidy, and he alone, made the electrical work for my kitchen remodel a smooth and easy process. Here's a list of the work he diligently completed. 1. Updated Siemens 100 amp sub-panel from an outdated Wadsworth panel. 2. Installed 7 new recessed lights in my dining room and kitchen. 3. Added dedicated circuits for my microwave, dishwasher, and above the countertops. 4. Installed dimmer switches added additional outlets in my dining room and living room. 5. Installed very elegant under cabinet lighting throughout my kitchen. I promise you... when it comes to electrical, Tim can do it all. And that's just the start. He's was also a joy to have in my home. He's kind, relatable, respectful, tidy, and takes great pride in his work. If you're looking for an electrician, I highly suggest you hire this young man. I can't say enough good things about my experience with him! THANK YOU TIM!! Attached is a photo of the under cabinet lighting."

"Mr. Electric provided excellent service for me under difficult circumstances. A building contractor damaged a wire and buried it under 42” of concrete. Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."

"Left a message for Statement Electric and Don got back to me right away. He was able to replace my light fixture and motion detector over the garage for a reasonable price the same day. Don was pleasant and professional and I am very satisfied with the work that was done. Would highly recommend!!"

"Steve was great! He was able to fit us into his schedule quickly and work around our tricky availability. He's incredibly friendly and professional. If you want good work done at a very reasonable price, Go with Steve @ Quick Connect. He made quick work of our lath and plaster walls and added the 4 outlets we needed. "Everyone was really professional and helpful. One of the projects took longer than anticipated, so they had to send someone out the next day to finish the last project. While I wasn't home for that work being done, the tech that was sent out, from what I was told, was very professional."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in North Royalton, OH

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
