Customers say: Quick response

"I thought Terry did a great job and was very knowledgeable about the product. Terry uses the invisible fence at his home and was able bring into our conversation about his experiences with his dog."

"These two men were excellent. Showed up when they said they would, made the repairs and left the site clean and tidy. They are both good communicators and made me feel confident in my choice"

Small jobs welcome

"Vincent came out in a blizzard on a Sunday to help me with my hot water heater. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in a couple of hours and did not overcharge. I will definitely try to use them for all my projects going forward."

"I needed stucco repair work on an old chimney (and other spots). Grady was meticulous and thoughtful on what approaches and materials would work. Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."

"Steve was extremely flexible around our work schedules.  He came, measured, discussed different options of fencing.  He didn't pressure us to buy a more expense fence that we didn't need or couldn't afford.  It is almost a year later and it looks great and is doing a great job keeping our dog and toddler fenced in.  <br /> I would highly recommend Steve to anyone interested in fencing.  We went to work one day, came home to a fenced yard.  Two Thumbs Up! <br />"

"We have used Jeff for many of our needs at our Band B and home for the past 5 years. He has painted indoors and out, removed a door and put up new drywall, installed crown molding, built shelves, remodeled our closet, re-grouted tile, repaired screens, installed a new kitchen vent fan, etc. <br /> For each and every job Jeff shows up when he says he will, keeps in excellent contact so you know what to expect, provides free, on-point estimates (and even charges you less if the job takes him less time than he expected), completes the work in a timely manner, and charges fair prices. <br /> Beyond that Jeff is polite, does not smoke, never curses, works quietly and independently, and cares very much about his work. He will walk with you and look at the finished product, and he takes pride in always doing a nice job. We have also found him to be very trustworthy. <br /> We have Jeff working on various projects probably 5 or more times each year, and he has never wavered from all of the positive points listed above. <br />"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in North-granville, NY

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
