"I used Cambridge Doors and Windows Inc. a few years ago to replace my back door and door jamb. The work was done to perfection. I had Cambridge paint the door with a color to match the rest of my home trim and the paint job was so smooth that I have had guest and other contractors ask who painted the door. I also went with the high end Emtek hardware which you will not find at Home Depot or Lowes. This year it was time to replace the front door and door leading to the garage, plus the door jambs. I called Mike for suggestions as he is very good at recommending door styles to fit the style of the home. He suggested changing the frame around the door to a more current simple contemporary style and I went with it and am very pleased. I am eagerly waiting on my front door to arrive and be installed, but the garage door is in place and looks fabulous. I looked a a lot of doors from the catalogs and did not care for any of them. Mike showed me a new door that recently arrived for another client and it was 'The Door'. This is a great company!!! They may be more expensive than hiring a handyman or going to Home Depot, but the quality of the Cambridge doors, hardware, threshold and installation are worth every penny. "Jefferson replaced rollers on four large mirrored closet doors. Came right on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, set an appt for following week to replace the rollers; did the job quickly and the closet doors slide better than they ever have. Also I requested Jefferson to measure and replace seven room/closet doors and two bifold closet doors, and one pocket door, which required measuring, painting, installing hardware, etc. He also replaced a broken door handle on a slider door. As usual, arrived on time, did the job to perfection, left the area clean, hauled off the old doors. What a difference the new doors make [they were original doors from the 1970s]. Jefferson does great work!!!!"

Once we decided to proceed, vendor's employee arrived at designed time to remove door and replace with a temporary. We were told the work would take 1 week, and it did. "Called the Neighborhood Garage Door Service of Houston on 12/7/2015 in the morning around 9am and they advised that a tech was close by and would be at the home within an hour.  Dillon arrived and looked over the springs that went out and advised it would take 30mins to 1hr.  The springs were replacement within 30mins and Dillon took extra time to how to properly maintain the garage door with what kind of product and recommended to replace the rolls to reduce the noise when opening and closing the garage door.
