"Overpriced! 5 hours spent at our house over 2 days. I didn’t see an itemized list of charges until the receipt after payment. Original estimate was over $2400! I removed items I knew our electrician could do for less. Estimate still $1800, but I thought I’d be happy with the quality. When I received the itemized receipt afterward, I noticed they charged $189 to repair the porch railing. This was minor repair - requiring 1-2 nails in 2 areas total. Buying an air powered nail gun costs less than $189. And they only fixed 1 of the 2 areas, so they didn’t even complete the task. The power washing done before painting the railing was minimal and suboptimal. I immediately contacted Mr. Handyman and was told that my questions would be reviewed. Silence. I’ve had an electrician come to our house- 8 hours of work including the 2 things that I removed from the Handyman list. Their work was more extensive (8 tasks), total charge $650. I’m blown away by how overpriced Mr Handyman is! Beware"

"Siding looked great but windows were very streaky. I called Chris and he told me he would be back soon. When I didn't hear from him, I called ( twice) and only got an answering machine. I left messages and got no response. I paid him $125.00 extra to wash the windows. That was on May 17th. Lesson learned - check the work before you write the check !"

"8/7/20 they took off our old roof and replaced it. We have found 4 leaks and squirrels in our attic since. I called numerous times telling them that we were having roof problems and no response. My husband built our house so he has done patches till the weather is better to repair. We keep waiting for more things to go wrong with our roof."
