"Bob stripped, buffed and plated 8 window hinge assembles, 4 spring-loaded oven door hinges a few small trim parts and about 25 coat hooks. All are originals from our 100 year old house. The spring-loaded hinges required complete disassembly and rust removal - they look like brand new. He took incredible care rebuilding those hinges to ensure the springs were all preloaded to provide consistent closing force and the stamped logo on the hinges were preserved through his careful buffing and handling. Bob's business card lists his title as "Artisan". He is that. Although expensive, his care and handling helped us preserve these parts. It was an investment that was worthwhile. It all went well.
