"RG Pavers is a dependable family-owned company. The owner, Jpnatan, was super easy to work with, knowledgeable and professional. They were always on time and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. They did a fantastic job on our backyard patio and bench. We love our new backyard. The quality of work is top notch. We highly recommend RG Pavers and would definitely hire them again."

"Eric and Chloe are the owners of Castillos Landscaping. Here's how our experience went: 1. They came to our home and listened to what we wanted, offered expert advice for the details, helped us tailor the scope, brought samples for us to consider, adapted as we changed our mind about details, and then created a clearly described project description and extremely fair bid. 2. Created a group chat and kept us updated every step of the way as they planned, began and finished the project. 3. Delivered incredibly detailed and professional work. They provided appropriate support and oversight to a very competent crew. This company is top notch. If you contract with Castillos Landscaping, you will not be disappointed. "

Customers say: Quick response

"Kris came right out and not only gave me a fair price to finish our patio paver project, but his crew also did an incredible job and know their stuff. We just wanted to extend our existing patio and he worked with us to meet our needs and exceed our expectations! Great communication and follow through, not only recommend but will also reach out again for any other project needs. THANK YOU!!!"

Customers say: True professional

"We called for an estimate for tilling but found a water leak while in the yard. His team came back later that day and fixed the leak. The yard was done today. They were on time, did a good job, cleaned up afterwards and were great. We will use them in the spring for mulch and hard scape and irrigation. Our new go to resource."

"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in North Plains, OR

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
