"Wow! Exceptional experience from the beginning. Jason was great to deal with. He was the most knowledgeable of all of the estimators (we got quotes from 7 different roofing companies), answered all of our questions and gave great advice. Roofing King wasn't the lowest estimate, but in the lower middle price range. We went with them because Jason won our trust and my research on their products (GAF) showed them to be top of the line with terrific warranties. Jason gave us options for a basic roof, a better and a best. It was clearly the right choice to go with the best. When we called him in a panic because we had open plywood as a result of recent construction he went out of his way (along with Jess who schedules the work and helped us get financing) to do our roof immediately. We called on Tuesday, Jason arrived Thursday, and on Saturday the roof was installed. The installation crew was impressive! I think we had 8 workers on the roof at one time and 2 or 3 on the ground cleaning up. They dropped materials and a dumpster off the day before and got to work at 7 am, finishing up by 1:30 pm. We have a very large roof so that was really something. Jason was here to make sure everything went as planned. It was really nice and unusual to have the same person quote the job, set it up, and supervise it. They left our yard cleaner than it was before they began. The roof looks beautiful. We are really really happy. A quick note about Jess - she had the financing handled in 15 minutes and jumped through a few hoops to get the scheduling lined up as they were booking out 3 weeks when I called. "Steve did another excellent job for us (his second job for us).  This was a large project with a full size barn, two car attached garage/breezeway, and 1760's colonial house.  He removed all the old roofing, with 4 or five layers on the house, and replaced with asphalt and reflashed the large center chimney.  He accomplished this with his team of about 4 within about three weeks of starting.  He even came back to replace the barn lightning rods after one part needed replacement for collateral damage, and resided part of the barn next to the garage where reflashing was needed.  As usual his price was fair, and the quality excellent.  Very highly recommended <br />"

"I found them on Angies' list. I asked for a quote. Mark Garon quoted it using Google earth - he didn't even have to come to my house. He is an hour away, so that makes sense. When I said I was interested in going to the next step, he came to see me and verified the measurements. They were within 3%, and he honored the original quote. He got a crew of 7 here within a week. They stripped and re-roofed in 2 days. Ice and water barrier for bottom 6', the flatter dormers, and the valleys. Used GAF architectural LIFETIME shingles with the required GAF other products to make the warrantee valid. The plants around the house will be fine...they used heavy duty tarps to get the shingles to the ground. They had someone spend more than an hour using a magnet to pick up the nails on the ground. I had two other quotes from people higher on this list that were much higher in price. I doubt the result would have been better. I feel I got a good value. Now the only problem is that with the new roof, it is clear that I have to paint at least the trim...."

"First class job at a very fair price Bottom line...I highly recommend Georgoulis Roofing and Construction. Our experience with them could not have been any better. I wasn't looking forward to finding a new contractor, especially since there seems to be so many small roofing companies out there. We used a roofer on our old house years ago and we would not use them again. We also knew of a roofer that our neighbor used, but he ended up over-estimating the roof size, which resulted in much higher costs for materials and labor. I don't think he really wanted the job. I saw great reviews for Georgoulis on multiple web sites, and I preferred to deal with a local company. Since I relied on those reviews, I wanted to share our experience for the benefit of others. Al Greene (Director of Field Operations) was great to work with. He was always extremely responsive, replying to all of our emails in a very timely manner (almost always within 24 hours or less). We looked at both Certainteed and GAF shingles, and decided on Certainteed Landmark (Pewterwood color). Moises, Christian and the rest of the roofing crew did a great job. Our house is 2500 sq ft...2 stories plus a side family room and the roof has a fairly good grade (roofers had to use safety ropes). They said the existing 1-layer roof would be stripped and replaced in two days, and it was. There were seven workers the first day and they worked a 12 hour day. There were three workers the second day and they worked 10 hours. They moved along at a really good pace. They placed blue tarps to protect the shrubs, walkway and deck. They then placed larger black tarps from the roof edge to the ground to protect the house itself. The crew also used several large magnets to search for nails all around the grounds and the lawn when done. There were only a few minor follow-up issues that required fixing - nothing unexpected for such a dirty job. A few asphalt marks on the siding and aluminum flashing from the shingle debris. There were also a couple of pieces of white aluminium flashing that had to be bent during installation in order to get the shingles all of the way in. This was completely understandable. Since we had a prior problem with bats in one of those areas, we asked them to restore the flashing to its original snug fit. They took care of everything right away. We also had three window screens that were damaged by shingle debris on the second day (minor scraps from the new roof; large black house tarps are only up during roof removal on day 1; had to be removed from the roof edge in order to install the new roof). I offered to take the screens to be repaired and Georgoulis reimbursed us. In hindsight, I wish I had taken the screens out. Kevin and Billy installed 10 sets of new vinyl shutters as well as a rain diverter over the front steps. They also addressed some of the clean-up issues. We covered the items in our attic since we knew there would be lots of granules going through the ridge vent during removal. We also took down anything hanging on the walls that might fall due to vibrations (mirrors, framed pictures, etc). Turns out we probably didn't need to do that, but better safe than sorry. We've already had a few good rain storms and there are no leaks or issues with the new roof. The builder had used inferior shingles when they built the house. We had a couple of leaks and had shingles blow off several times over the years due to the wind (due to lack of tar adhesive on the shingles). We now know that we have a solid, high quality roof. Everyone involved was great from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more. It really exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Georgoulis to family and friends and would definitely use them again for any job."
