Mass Stump and Tree Removal opened its doors in 1965, by owner Peter Tankis. Peter truly enjoys his work, he is an extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and hard working man who has been climbing and caring for tree’s in the Blackstone Valley area and beyond for years before opening his own company. Peter has two sons by his wife Judy Tankis, Nathan and Jordan, who he has been passing his extensive knowledge in fine tree care to for many years. Nathan has been working with Peter since the early 90’s and is a very knowledgeable and a skilled arborist. Jordan has been full time with the company since the late 90’s and as well as his knowledge in fine tree care, he is also a skilled climber and bucket operator. Judy has also played a large role in the company since its inception. "The agreement was $120 to cut the front & back yard. Which I venmo'd immediately. Bobby C arrived the same day, cut the front and decided to leave without finishing the back yard. He had left the job without notice and afterwards, texted me his decision to leave without providing me any opportunity to discuss his reasoning why. Despite his accusations via text, I reached out and addressed the issue with Bobby over the phone. He seemed to calm down, and then once again established an agreement with me to not only return to finish the original job but with the additional understanding that I was going to hire him as the permanent landscaper. We both were in agreement, however he never returned or contacted me since the original cut on May 9th. Because of this, I had to hire another landscaper ( not through Angie this time) And paid $130 in order to complete the job that bobby said he would but did not. The agreement was $120, he did half the work and left behind grass clippings. I want to pay him $50 and get the remaining balance refunded back to me for the inconvenience and poor customer service."
