"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"We had to replace our front porch due to termite damage. We consuted Angie's list for a contractor and chose one from the list for the repairs.  <br />     When the porch roof decking was complete, I asked the contractor to recommend a roofing contractor. He recommended All Purpose Roofing. Again I consulted Angie's list and found All Purpose Roofing listed. I contacted them and spoke with Buddy McFarland, the owner. He came by and gave us an estimate. We agreed to have them do the roof on the porch.  <br />      I asked Buddy to do a thorough inspection of the entire roof. Upon inspection, he found that the shingles were in good condition, with the exception of the four valleys. The shingles had been installed improperly by another contractor in the past. <br />     One valley was leaking water into the soffet and the decking and support rafters were rotted. I asked for an estimate and agreed for them to make all necessary repairs to the roof. <br />     Buddy, and his crew, arrived on time and started working right away. They completed the job quickly and were very professional.     <br />     We are very pleased with the quality, and price, of the work that All Purpose Roofing did on our house, and would recommend them to anyone needing any roofing work done. <br />"

"They were honest to a fault. They had an eye for detail. If the shingles were supposed to have a nail every four inches, it was every four inches. They were very precise. I did have some problems with getting them to do the work, so their punctuality let me feel like my job is not as important as everybody else's job, because they were booked. He has such a good reputation. At this specific time it was following a hurricane that came to our area and it was quite a few people. And finding somebody that was dependable and honest was a craft. He kind of overbooked himself a little bit at that time. He is very meticulous with all of his work. I feel confident that he has given me the same type of treatment that he has given everybody else. We had agreed to meet and he was supposed to come out and there was a delay. I don't feel like he schedules his time appropriately but I feel he was a victim of circumstances and I don't mean it in a derogatory manner because I just feel he was overbooked with work. At that time we were running short of supplies."
