"I'd used TruGreen in the past is why I chose them for my lawn care. I was originally set up on 4-6 week intervals to accomodate my financial needs. Everything was going as planned until I got a fertilization/weed control treatment & aeration in Sep within a week apart. I didn't realize what happened until I received the bill and contacted them to report a duplicated charge. I was told one of the charges included an aeration treatment and was a one time application indicated in the contract. This was not my understanding and must have been in very small print I could not read. When first asked about doing aeration, it was agreed to revisit in the fall. I was not asked, told or suggested this was being done so I got hit with that bill. Customer Service Rep was useless. Her resolution was to send someone out when I mentioned the service was incomplete since the gate was locked and the technician did not have access to my yard."

What Velarde Lawn Services quoted they delivered (AND THEN SOME). 3. They were solutions oriented. There were multiple unexpected issues that other companies may have just brushed aside. Velarde Lawn services addressed the irregular proportions of parts of the Lawn without having to hem and haw. They just made things work. 4. The crew was amazing. When Jose would go to get more supplies (I live on a tight one way so a big delivery was out of the question), the crew kept working at pace. They were SO professional. 5. "I hired World Class Lawns in March 2018 to alleviate some of the lawn care while I sold my home. I have been caring for my own property for the past 29 years using Scotts 4 step and occasional additional treatments. My lawn has always been green, free of crabgrass and other unwanted grasses and pests. For the first time in 29 years I can say my lawn looks worse than it has ever looked ever. There are brown patches, crab grass all over the front and back, clovers and other trailing weeds. It has never looked worse. I phoned their office a couple of times in May and was assured the grass would look perfect in October! October?? Who cares if the grass looks good before it snows? I waited until July to see additional results and there was absolutely nothing positive only a worsening condition of crab grass, weeds, dry patches even with an irrigation system and constant care and clovers, all over the property. For the amount I already paid World Class I should have had the best lawn on the block. Unfortunately others who don't care for their lawns in some case look better than my own. This is deeply disturbing given the reason for having hired this service. I would never recommend them. I tend to post only positive reviews for businesses but that is wrong. The public should know when they will receive a bum deal and poor work. I'm back to using Scotts 4 step program. It is actually easier, it works and far less costly and not harmful to wildlife. Lastly, while you receive and invoice, that invoice fails to mention the cost, only that payment is either due or had been received. I am fairly certain each application was more than $200 per application yet I do not have any accurate invoices documenting the cost paid.."
