Mr. Ossman even brought wood cutting tools to help break down an old wooden swingset along with hauling off all the unneeded junk, trash and old furniture we had including a riding mower that didn't work and hardly rolled. "Fantastic!!!! I could not be happier with having chosen Green Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling to take care of my roofing needs! Craig Poindexter was punctual when arriving to provide the free estimate and again on the day of the roofing project. At the time of the estimate, Craig provided a detailed drawing of the roof and what areas of low sloped roof would require a modified roll shingle to prevent water from pooling and leaking into the house (water stains on the ceiling towards the back of the house is one reason that prompted roofing estimates). The drawing also included the location of 8 box vents that would provide attic venting and be strategically placed so as not to be too noticeable from the street. Craig predicted that my roof could be removed down to the decking and re-shingled in one day. The Green Phoenix estimate was less than two other competing roofing companies that provided estimates to do the exact same work. Green Phoenix's reasonable estimate and plan for re-roofing my 1400 sq foot single story home along with their clean up policy and proper collection and recycling of old shingles made this company the clear choice for me. On the day of the roofing project, Craig's crew arrived just before 8am and ready to start work. They were courteous and confirmed the job site address with me before putting ladders up and laying down tarp around the perimeter of my home to protect the plants and shrubbery. Craig arrived exactly at 8am with the hydraulic dump trailer to collect the old shingles that his crew had already started tearing off the back of the roof. Craig and crew worked on the roof all day (with a break for lunch) and as promised, had the shingles and box vents installed by 5:30 that afternoon. As a final touch, they painted all of the pipe flashes, caps and stacks to match the roof color. Clean up was performed during and at the end of the project that included running a magnetic sweep around the entire house. I have not found any stray nails or trash around my home and am quite pleased that they respected my property enough to leave it free of debris. I am going to keep Green Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling in mind for my future remodeling needs and they will be the only roofing company I refer to my friends and family.
