"Our friend that recently finished building their home, recommended us Moses & HomeTech for our home remodel in Palo Alto. We remodeled, reconfigure our 2300sf and added about 400sf . The planning and permitting process took some time but based on what I heard it is very standard for Palo Alto and size of the project . I personally enjoyed the design process and appreciated patience , creativity and suggestions from Moses and his engineer and designer . After we received final approval from the city , things went very smooth and project was completed well before estimated time. We moved out from the house and also spent significant time outside of country but team kept us informed throughout the process. We appreciated transparency and being straight with cost and possible surprises from the beginning. They took house down to the studs and when they finished, it was amazing ! "I had an exceptional experience in this company. When you see these great reviews up here: they’re true! Oren, our contractor with SOD Home Group, proved that house construction projects don’t have to be a nightmare but can be a pleasure if you find the right person to take you through it. Our old house seriously needed a remodel, and I didn’t have any personal preferences for any contractor; I lucked out when Oren came to interview. I liked Oren’s friendly, straightforward manner, devoid of slickness or hard sell, and his experience in construction was obvious as he walked me through the process. Oren spent time in the planning stage to find out what I wanted and discussed ideas that would work with the space. This is important: he is not the designer, he is the builder and will tell you what is structurally possible. Once a plan is agreed upon, his designer Eden put everything in several designs and after this stage is approved… then the crew do the work but i selected the fixtures, tile, paint color, etc. Oren had many useful resources to help, but I had a great idea of what I wanted needed. On the business end, once I committed to the job, the contract was clear, covering a schedule of payments and stages. Oren kept me up to date with what he needed from my end and when the crew was going to show up, etc..; all the teams came on time and work diligently. What a great combination: an experienced contractor with talented people skills who wants me to be happy with the job and makes it pleasant and easy! He’s been there for my every question and issue and gets back to me right away. I’m impressed by Oren’s team, all very professional people who do excellent, clean work while treating the area with respect; there’s not one guy working in my house that I wouldn’t have back (we are all working from home because of the pandemic). I’m impressed by the beautiful work that is being done and how creative and collaborative this team is. So summarizing: I found an honest, personable, skilled contractor backed by a wonderful team of professionals who are doing what they promised. No games here. "We needed one of our bedrooms completely re-built (flooring, ceiling, walls, insulation, painting) AND we wanted to completely renovate the attached bathroom. I am extremely particular. I scheduled consultation appointments with 3 contractors, all of which had great reviews on houzz and other sites. From prior personal experience and friends' experiences with contractors, their reputation on the street is not that great. After all the consultations, I decided to go with Done Right Home Remodeling. For the record, they were not the cheapest, but their offer was fair and I felt good about our project manager, Michael. Our project is now complete and I have to say I feel very good about selecting Done Right Home Remodeling and Michael proved to be anything other than the contractor stereotypes I mentioned above. He was personable, friendly, a GREAT communicator, and he made himself available almost anytime (even before 8 am and up until 10 pm at night sometimes). His customer service was superb. I would highly recommend them and this is almost directly attributable to our experience with Michael. The project manager can make your life really smooth or miserable. Michael managed our project extremely well and kept us updated almost daily. If you can select Leeran, I would highly, highly recommend him! Thanks."

"The project involved replacing/relocating kitchen island plus countertops, backsplash, range hood insert, floor tile, electrical and plumbing for a high end custom home. The project went as planned cradle to grave, noteworthy and impressive considering COVID. GVD said 5 weeks for construction. It took 5 weeks. The design team did a wonderful job rendering our future kitchen allowing us to see [not just imagine] what it will look like both aesthetically and functionally. The construction crew knew their business. Each an expert in his craft. They worked efficiently making big efforts to wall off the rest of the house from the construction area and maintaining a tidy construction area throughout the construction period. Even the 'permit guy' was impressed saying he could not find a code they did not follow to the letter. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for my next project."
