"We requested estimates from four painting contractors before selecting Aurora Painting & Decorating to paint our exterior and a few interior rooms. Aurora’s pricing was a little higher than the average pricing from all of the estimates, but we really felt that the value was above and beyond the other contractors. The crew really seemed engaged with our project and this is a very noticeable quality when you have worked with other contractors that seem uninterested in the client or the client’s project. Aurora was also able to set up a meeting with a color consultant for the project and, fortunately, they are also connected to an excellent carpenter – our house had some serious wood dry rot issues that needed to be addressed during the work. The carpenter (Antonio) was equally amazing and was able to handle all of the dry rot issues before the painting was completed. Dean was very helpful with explaining each phase of the work, answering all of our many questions, and connecting with the crew (and us) if there were additional questions or concerns. A number of our neighbors have used Aurora Painting over the years and we are happy to have found them. We plan to recommend them highly to our friends and hope to have them back to complete the rest of our interior. "Excellent! I thought I needed a new thermostat since I wasn’t getting any heat. Juan came over , checked the circuit breaker and found that the breaker was worn out. He replaced the breaker and found that the thermostat was still functioning. He could have said that the thermostat needed replacing too but instead he just said you needed a new circuit breaker. I really appreciated the honesty. If he said I needed the thermostat too I would have paid for both thus increasing my bill. I just want to add a few more comments about the work that he’s done for me. I first met Juan when he came over to my house to stabilize a lose tile that was above my garage door. Then I showed him mold growing next to my shower door. He found a small crack that allowed water to seep into the sheet rock. He replaced the shower door and the sheet rock that was growing mold. Then I took him to the bathroom where I showed him a bulging floor board next to the toilet. He found a small crack in the toilet tank that slowly dripped water on to the backside of toilet dripping water onto the base board. He offered to repair the tank but I told him to go ahead and replace the toilet. I can’t say enough about Juan. Whatever the problem is he’ll figure out how to fix it. When he approaches a problem he approaches with a positive attitude. Another time my ceiling fan went out and I asked him to come out to see what the problem was. Instead over the phone he told me to check the remote control. I went on Amazon and ordered a new remote control . I placed in new batteries and the fan started working. He didn’t charge me anything for the advice. I was prepared to buy a new fan and all I needed was a new remote. Juan is multi talented. I’ve recommend him to my neighbor and he’s done a couple of projects for her (leaking roof). Lastly, in a couple of weeks he’s coming over to paint my front door and put a new latch on my side gate. I’m 77 years with an injured leg so fixing things around the house is difficult for me. Juan has made my life easier."

I selected Brett due to the thoroughness of his assessment of my house and the work required considering the last time the home was painted was 1990. It is paramount to me who comes on my property to perform work and as Brett is the proprietor with a California contractor license that greatly appealed to me. Brett made solid recommendations on how I should handle the wood rot. Brett was spot on with his assessment on the time and materials required, he and his employee were on time and only missed days because of rain. "Best Painter I have ever hired. I contacted Walt in early July. After meeting him, I had a good feeling about him. But I didn't want the job to be done until I was on break from work in October. He was no pressure, when ever I wanted it. Explained that I wanted to brighten up the room, the color I had was dark. He made some good suggestions that I went with. I was not disappointed. Great Customer service. Took pride in prepping the walls and baseboard. He was a clean painter very organized with a plan. He knew I would need a second coat on the walls, and he was 100% right. The work was done in 2 days. With his experience he made it look simple. I have several more paint jobs, and I will be hiring Walt. Thank you Walt."
