"All mark fence came out and did a privacy fence for us. 700 linear feet, so not a small or inexpensive project. We immediately had issues with workmanship (gates not latching and fence had a significant lean to it at the back of our property). I messaged mark and he said he would stop out. He has spent years avoiding me and performing the warranty work, even though I have offered multiple times to compensate him for his time and materials even though the issues should have been covered under his “guarantee” with the original install. I would avoid this business."

"My new fence is beautiful. Owner Nick made sure that no possible problems arose due to the site's unusual setting - leaving me with a sturdy, forever enclosure for my new garden and dog’s playground. Because of Nick and his builder’s expertise and great ideas, I am also having them add an elevated deck to an unused area by the house’s back door for a relaxing sitting area - this was their idea. It’s replacing the small area of old ground-level patio pavers I had to walk down to and never used. Now I will be able to barbecue close to the house while viewing the entire yard with its flocks of feeding birds. "

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Oberlin, OH

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
