"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

"I was very pleased with Mr. Yanez from New Creation Custom Painting. He did an excellent job. He repaired cracks, filled nail holes and was especially careful around the windows. He also discussed areas that could prove problematic, making certain to understand what I wanted. He also discussed and made recommendations on the outside trim he will do for us next week. <br />"

"Our last paint job was failing with lots of peeling and rusting.  We called Blue Skies and Elizabeth took on our job.  Her attention to detail is wonderful.  Our house sits just yards from the ocean and gets the full brunt of weathering.  Every metal piece had rust that had to be addressed.  The siding had been faced nailed with only galvanized nails which were all rusting now and had to be treated.  All the prep work was a long and tedious process which she followed through with more care and attention to detail than any other painter we have ever had.  Painting on the coast can try anyone's patience.  There is a heavy dew most mornings, it's windy a lot of days making ladder and paint work challenging, and a marine fog layer that can breeze ashore almost without warning making any wet paint or caulk fail immediately.  Elizabeth faced the challenges with a smile and a good attitude. When we found that one of the corner boards and some siding needed to be replaced, she was able to call in her help to do the repairs.   I'm sure that the whole job took longer to complete than was expected because of the weather but she didn't cut corners or details to get out quickly.  She also helped us pull our color scheme together and suggested painting the prominent exposed foundation which really made a big difference.  Through out the whole process, she stayed in close communication with us.  I hope to have her back soon to paint inside!"

"We prefer to use Rodda paint whether we hire a contractor or paint ourselves. The quality of Rodda paint is excellent and it is easy for us (non-professional) to use. Even if this particular store were not the closest to our home, we would likely shop there. The salespeople are knowledgeable and professional. At one time they gave us a good reference for a professional when we needed one for a job we did not want to do ourselves."

"Installation and painting of the siding went well.  I was not home to see the work in progress.  Siding was installed in late March.  Painting occurred in first half of April after a rainy period ended.  Last part of the job is to install a new cover on top of the chase and that has not gone all that well.  I had to call and email several times and was told that last task kept falling through the cracks. On June 1, finally met with contractor and sub-contractor, who took the needed measurements.  Still waiting for the cover to be fabricated and installed as of 15 June 2015.  I'm uncertain if I would use this contractor again.  Initially things went pretty well and the contractor has always been polite and apologize for the delays, but the prolonged delays in finishing the full job have been frustrating. <br />"

"Dan came in and gave us a   quote.  I called to schedule.  At the appointed time, Bob came over and took out the cabinet doors to go to the shop for lacquer, then he began cleaning and priming.  bob was careful to make sure that he had the door numbered, including the hardware, so that it could be put back together.  I bought some hinges to match our appliances, but they didn't quite fit and John took my old hinges and painted them the color that I needed.  Throughout they were on time, professional and worked very cleanly.  These guys are VERY VERY good.  Came in on time and on budget.  Great experience.            <br />"
