"excellent service from the receptionist to the owner to the workers.  I was very pleased with their work, their punctuality, their expertise, their friendly staff, and workers. Phone calls were returned right away as the owner carried cell phone with him. I was very pleased with my new fence, and a year later- still enjoying my new fence. <br />"

"Nick and his guys were really great. The fence looks great and is very sturdy. I got home just as they were finishing up and they were very polite and helpful. The only downside is the time it took to get responses to my phone messages. It often took up to a week to get a reply which got a bit frustrating. However, they showed up right on time both to give us the initial estimate (which ended up being about $100 higher than the end price - always nice!!), to measure everything out the day before, and to put the fence in. They finished ahead of their time estimate which is also always appreciated!! I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced and quality fencing project. <br />"

"It did include two gates into the backyard. What stood out the most was the quality of the materials and the quality of the installation. The fence has been holding up good."

"I solicited four estimates for this job. Elite Fence and Deck was neither the highest nor the lowest bid for this job. I selected this company because of the higher degree of professionalism in their bid process. They took the time to explain all details and point out any issues I might encounter with my fence installation. The lowest bidder did not even want to come out for an estimate. They quoted me over the phone without even seeing the job. The highest bidder was substantially more. <br /> <br />They quoted me a three week lead time to start the work and one to two days to complete the job. <br /> <br />Now for the actual work. Exactly three weeks later they were ready to do the job. Right on schedule. How good is this? I have always had difficulty getting people who really work on schedules in this area. <br /> <br />When they arrived, I asked for some changes in the job (more fencing than originally planned). I also asked that they try to complete the job in one day, if at all possible. <br /> <br />They started work at 8:30am and continued to work till almost 8pm, finishing the job in one day. <br /> <br />The fence is beautiful and this group bent over backwards to make sure I was happy! I can't say enough good things about this company and strongly recommend them. <br />"

"Overall, the window-storm door-trim project was quite successful, but not without snags/problems. The first snag arose after I reminded Jaymey that the window openings on the south side were to receive the double hung windows. Jaymey immediately stated the instructions to one of his workers, who about a half-hour later (after Jaymey had left to check on another project) began to install a sliding window on the south side. Nonetheless, I spotted the mistake early, so that turned out okay. (It pays to keep a close eye on things.) The second snag arose from defective caulk. As I planned to paint the interior trim, paintable caulk was needed between the joints. However, a bad batch of caulk proved not to be paintable (save for one tube). I complained and Jaymey sent out an employee. The employee looked at the absence of adhesion and said that the interior trim was vinyl. I told him that it was wood. When he was convinced that it was wood, I said that the easiest fix was to replace the interior trim. He said that he was not comfortable with that and left. Nonetheless, after I spent several hours sanding off the caulk from the wood surface, the window installation turned out fine. The next snag was in the placement of the door handle-lock fixture in the storm door to the back yard entrance. Apparently, measurements weren’t taken prior to installing the fixture with the result that the plunger could not be engaged by using a key on the outside. Jaymey sent out an employee with a saw to shorten the plunger. After he shortened it and after I spent about 30 to 45 minutes filing down the sharp edges, the storm door installation too turned out fine. Another shortcoming was a string of quite noticeable scratches on the front entry door. My wife said that they were not there before work was done on the outside storm door. Nonetheless, the front door had some minor scratches from Christmas wreath decorations and likely should be repainted anyway. Finally, there was a blotch of something on one of the screens, quite irritating at the time, but weather apparently has removed it. So, overall, everything turned out not badly, in fact, quite good. I like Jaymey. Although most of his crew seem to me not to be overly endowed with talent (JC is an exception, he seems quite capable), if you keep a close eye on things, the work should turn out okay. With this caveat, I would recommend Dornbusch Construction. I also should remark that I may have Dornbusch Construction do more work in the future. I should also add that Jaymey always returns telephone calls and has a pleasant manner."

"Nick came and gave me an estimate on a Tuesday and took the trees down the next day. This was part 1 of 2. He will be installing a fence, removing a concrete patio area and fixing the really ugly flower beds. He has been very helpful through this whole process. Because of his prompt service I have hired him to do some tree work at my rental property."

"Overall, the experience and work of the contractor was good.  I am very satisfied with the finish product and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage like other experiences in the past.  The sales person was very helpful in helping me understand the whole process with the insurance company and was very honest.  The only thing I would have liked to see different was a little more communication and help with filling out the paper work for the Certainteed class action lawsuit that I had to file.  Regarding the communication, the day they were suppose to start shingling, I decided to work from home in the morning to make sure everything started as expected but no workers showed because of rain in the area.  I had to contact them and it would have been nice if they contacted me.  Lastly, I also had some trim work that needed replacing which I was expecting to get replaced when the roof was being done but ended up not getting done for another month.  The contractor just showed up and started working and it would have been nice to receive a call saying when they would be out.  <br />"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Ogema, MN

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
