"The work was good. The money was more than I had figured, but that was not the problem. I should have questioned the amount the next morning when he came to work. When I took the check out to pay him he was on his knees and had the electric line for the yard lights in his hand. I ask him what was wrong and he said he had cut the wires to the lights, but had repaired them and they were fine. Because of the seriousness of my son's medical condition, I did not check the lights immediately. I noticed later they were not lit. I contacted Mr. Hadley and he said he could come out that same day. He did not come. I called him a few days later and he said he could come out immediately. He did not. I have called him a total of 8 times and he has not come out yet. The last call, I told him I would buy new lights and hire an electrician to put them in and I would send him the bill. He has not responded yet and I will probably have to replace the lights at my own expense. My complaint was not with the work he did. My complaint is that he damaged something, did not fix it but continued to lie about coming out and still has not repaired them and it was for spring work and it is now just about fall and he has not yet done anything."
