"On Thanksgiving night, we had issues with the kitchen lights coming on/then turning off on their own, with the smell of burnt plastic and hot-to-the-touch dimmer switch plate. The burning smell concerned me greatly, and Tim with Vital Power was the only electrician who answered my calls the Friday after Thanksgiving and came out for emergency service. Sure enough, a wire had burnt out on the dimmer connection. Tim stopped by and made the repair within a couple of hours of my initial phone call and was very kind and professional--even though he was in pain from a back injury. In contrast, another electrician who had been recommended to me never returned my call (not even the Monday after the holiday weekend.)
