He took the time to answer and confirmed it was normal and not much you can do about it. I remembered that interchange and contacted Mike this year 2020 to perform a brush-on seal coat. As I expected it came out excellent. Mike actually performed the work with his team on a 90 degree day. They took extra time to work fill material into cracks along the edges and at the base where the driveway meets the street.
