"10 word minimum. We recently did a complete remodel of our 3000 sq ft home and South Shore Construction did a fantastic job! This remodel involved blowing out walls,, creating an arch entrance, and moving the kitchen foot print as well as painting, flooring, electrical etc. Kevin our GC was very detailed and communicated well with us throughout the entire process! When a few hiccups happened along the way Kevin was quick to fix and resolve the issue. All the work was done at a very professional level. Go ahead and call South Shore! You won’t be disappointed!"

"Avoid this company at all possible costs. I have videos, pictures, and email records to back all of the following claims. My significant other and I hired Brownie’s Septic and Plumbing to adjust the plumbing under our new kitchen sink as well as install new bathroom faucets. When the plumber initially came out for a quote, Thursday, he came to see what parts would be necessary to complete the job. Him and my significant other had a detailed conversation about how a specific part would be needed to mount the garbage disposal to the sink. Come Friday, I was present when the work began. When the plumber got to the kitchen sink I hear him start to huff and puff, very obviously trying to indirectly get my attention. I go over to see what’s wrong, we have literally the exact same conversation about the same missing piece that was previously discussed with my significant other the day before. Why is this the second time this conversation is being held? Why are you acting like this is the first time you’re seeing this? No doubt an attempt to lengthen the span of the project and drive up the cost. A flexible slip-joint pipe was used underneath the kitchen sink leading out of the garbage disposal, this is not to code as confirmed by a former maintenance supervisor for the city of Orlando. It is also very obviously not to code as every couple of weeks the pipe fails, water and food scraps come gushing out of the cabinet below the sink. Moving on to the bathroom faucets, all three were installed despite them being completely unusable. Water was literally shooting beyond the edge of the countertop onto the floor. These faucets could not be used or returned, because the plumber had made the decision to throw the boxes for them in the trash without my approval, putting us out around $150. This is a new construction property with multiple large dumpsters on site, being able to located the boxes was not possible. A quoted 2.5 hour job turned into a 4 day ordeal with work that is not to code. Staff is rude and combative when discussing scheduling and payment."

"We worked with S&W kitchens to remodel our kitchen. Luckily it was taking them WAY longer than they said it should because then the hurricane hit. We then contracted with them to fix the flood damage. The project went so badly that we told them not to do the bathroom. We just wanted them out of our house. They take on WAY too many projects and then don't have the subs to do the work. I thought it was because of the flood but the subs we spoke to said they ALWAYS do that. We live on the beach but most of the subs live on the east side of Tampa. Therefore they told us they couldn't be here before 10am. Then they left at 3. I suppose they didn't want to hit rush hour. The subs took no pride in their work. I'm sure if they were doing the same thing to their house it would be done right. The designer that we worked with "Joanne" said she had been designing kitchens for years but she actually had no idea how to do it. The appliance and cabinet doors slam into each other and can't be open at the same time. We had asked to have certain things done and when it was installed we asked why it wasn't to our specifications she said well that is standard. She lengthened the island 18" on her own then when it was being installed she said yes she changed it but it was on the plans. Is the homeowner supposed to go around reading updated plans? When we complained to her after installation of all these things she never even said "I'm sorry." The floors in the kitchen were not leveled before putting the lament down so there are soft spots. I'm told that will shorten the life of the flooring. Because of all of this, instead of being happy and excited with the kitchen and the rest of the house the joy was taken out of it because of all the problems. All in all a very horrible anxiety ridden project with little or no customer service."
