Small jobs welcome

"We have used several different tree removal/tree maintenance companies and by far Top Care Ground Control were the best we have hire. They took time to answer all our question, address our concerns and really followed through with everything we needed done. Prices are extremely fair, they were very clean and professional. We will be hiring them for future needs."

"I hired Ferrgo landscaping to complete a very large project. Installation of a 6 hole golf putting green, covering all remaining areas with artificial grass, mulch install , and installing of a water fountain. I was very disappointed as they do not have the knowledge to be installing water fountains or artificial grass. They have removed and reinstalled the water fountain two times and have been unsuccessful when it comes to keeping the water fountain running as the water continues to leak out. The water fountain will run for 1 -2 days before running dry. He told me they would return and Now they are paid in full and he will not return my call or messages. He charged me $6200 to install the water fountain alone that will not work and now he will not answer the phone or come back to finish the job. Do yourself and call someone else because Ferrgo is a thief ."

"We hired Troy at Surface and Structure to do design and permitting work when we decided to do an expansion on our daycare. The city came to us with 3 major issues having to do with flood planes, surface water and existing structures. The requirements they were throwing at us would have absolutely killed our project. Troy met with the city officials and negotiated reasonable solutions to each of the problems that saved our project. All of the costly requirements were avoided and we got to do our expansion."

"I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY... I called Dragon Plumbing to diagnose my hot water heater. I was told that it was a $125.00 diagnostic fee and that if repair work was completed, the diagnostic fee would not be applied and I would only be charged for the work being done at the time. This is standard practice in the industry and I understood this going into the appointment. The technician, Adrian, was late to the appointment and it was after 5pm before he showed up. I was not at the house at the time, so he called me after being at the location for a while and said he reset the pilot light and was testing it to determine what was wrong. I asked him if he was going to be able to give me an estimate and he said he was not sure. He called me back about 15 minutes later and said he finished and that he could not determine what was wrong at the time because the pilot stayed lit. I asked him for his recommendation and he said he would have to call the manufacturer. I asked him how we would handle the $125 fee if I have not been given an opportunity to have the unit serviced or repaired by his company. He told me I would have to talk to the office about that. The next morning I was told that the manufacturer recommended changing the burner and or thermocouple OR replacing the unit because of it's age. I asked the "office" if they could provide me with a written estimate and they provided me with three estimates; one for the thermocouple, one for the burner and thermocuple and one for replacing the entire unit. I called back and said I was considering having the thermocouple replaced and I asked if the $125.00 would be credited to the invoice if I had them complete the repair and they told me NO...I HAD TO MAKE THAT DECISION AT THE TIME OF THE INITIAL VISIT. I asked how it was possible for me to make that decision if they could not provide me with a full estimate at the time of the service call. They told me that because the manufacturer was closed that they could not get the recommended repair information. So bottom line, they would not take off the $125 if I had the work done by them. I then asked if the owner could call me to discuss. I was told he was on vacation and would call me when he got back. The owner, Neil Thomas never called me back to discuss this further. I then got an email/invoice from Shelly asking me to pay the $125 service call fee. The email said in part, "Please note invoice is for diagnostics only, we are unable to credit invoice as we do not recommend trying to repair heater at this point the heater would need to be replaced. Due to age of heater we will not take responsibility for heater not functioning properly if repair is attempted." I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD AND HAVE A QUESTIONABLE DIAGNOSTIC POLICY. If you are going to have a policy that says the $125 fee will be credited or waived if the work is done at the time of the service, then you should have the means to provide an estimate and provide that service right then and there. I would have had him repair the unit right then and there. I never expected to the tech to consult with the manufacturer prior to giving an estimate. Also, since Adrian lit the pilot light, it has not gone out. The water heater is working fine and I don't believe that replacing the entire unit was called for in this situation. So I also do not trust their opinion as to unit needing replaced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY..."

"A friend recommended Blue Water Pool. We are so thankful they did! They exceeded expectations. Mikey was able to get our pool "blue" again. Our pool had bad algae and we could not get rid of it. He was friendly and helpful in solving our pool problems. He visited our pool six times within two weeks and made it blue. We highly recommend them!"

FAQs for water feature fountain or waterfall installation projects in Orlando, FL

Installing a drinking fountain costs between $500 and $1,000 for indoor models and an average of $3,000 for outdoor units, including installation. The cost depends on the design, materials, and professional labor involved, with service rates ranging from $45 to $200 per hour. Investing in a drinking fountain can enhance your space's functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics. A well-cared-for fountain that matches the home’s design and functions flawlessly boosts buyer confidence and market desirability. Routine maintenance and professional installation ensure proper performance, ensuring that your fountain benefits both daily enjoyment and long-term resale value.

Maintaining a fountain costs $25 to $50 per month for basic upkeep and $50 to $150 for professional deep cleaning or servicing. A fountain of any size requires routine draining, thorough cleaning of the pump, tubing, and surface, plus regular inspections for wear, algae, or mineral deposits. Annual maintenance and sealing further extend its lifespan and enhance its appearance.

How much power your water fountain uses depends on the pump’s size and operating schedule. Smaller fountains use less than 10 watts per day, while larger cascade pumps can require up to 1,000 watts. This translates to an average increase of around $25 per month on your electric bill.

Water fountain installation takes anywhere from a few hours to several days. The installation timeline depends on the fountain’s design, site preparation requirements, and the involvement of professional plumbing and electrical services. Prefabricated water features are set up in a few hours, while custom designs require additional structural and aesthetic modifications and take much longer.
