"Well, what can I say. I have known Ed both working on his own, and with another contractor. If you want your painting, drywall, popcorn removal done RIGHT, then Ed is who you want to do the job. He’s done extensive work both on the inside and the outside of our home, and I will simply only have Ed do his magic with our home. Ed, as opposed to many down at the lake, shows up on time, price is fair, and work is perfect. I plan on another job in the fall with Ed, since if I have any painting/drywall etc. done, Ed is the ONLY person I would consider. "

"JDs painting stained our cedar sided lake house and garage. David was great to work with and is a master communicator. His crew was professional and very helpful with recommendations to make the end result the best. We used a different color to trim out the windows, doors and facia. It looks like siding now. We also required a cedar siding repair on the chimney area. David brought in a carpenter to perform the repair at a reasonable additional price. Additional small repairs were completed the pairing crew (e.g. Woodpecker holes) The completion of the project checked all the boxes which is hard to do at the Lake of the Ozarks. "Older house with 10 original weight/sash windows still in solid shape, with exterior trim and sills developing rot.  Chose to retain original windows, replace exterior trim with PVC, including sills and front door trim.  As is the case with older houses, angles are no longer straight.  Ron scheduled appointment promptly after our call and understood our reasoning for our decision.  He also agreed work could take place as we imagined (others were less comfortable with this approach).  Discussions took 2 times around to be sure we were both on same page; Ron was very patient with the request for extra discussion.   We decided on Lauer Exteriors due to comfort with Ron's expertise and very reasonable price-including some extras not provided in other quotes.   Scheduling moved a bit due to wait on ordered storm windows in particular.  Ron kept us posted all along the way.  Ron told us the first 1-2 windows would go slowly as they "learned about the house" - right on the mark.  We made some adjustments to plans for the sills after the first exterior window trim came off and they could see the full original sill workmanship.  Ron was very quick to suggest some other options for handling the sills.  Work was completed on time (per original estimate of time needed once work began), some additional and very helpful corrections were made to the front door trim in particular, we felt very comfortable with the team working on the house, the exterior work areas all around the house were left in great shape, and Ron told us he would be happy to come back to give work a once over and touch up any caulking/etc that might have been missed.  There were a few spots requiring touch up (as is the case when I work on the house as well) and Ron was back promptly to address those spots.    I'm still enjoying looking at the house now and very pleased with work of Lauer Exteriors. <br />"

"They did a good job; I would hire them again. I received 3 bids on the job, and Gold Seal was the cheapest. I know, "you get what you pay for" but there are lots of things to fix in this house so I have to stretch the budget. They responded immediately to my request for bid, had someone out right away for the estimate, and kept following up until we were able to agree on a date. They convinced me the quality of paint they selected was just fine, and it was. They did everything as agreed, and it turned out great. I also appreciate they took the job, as I know it wasn't the biggest job around."
