"Brice is great to work with and does exceptional work. The tree/stump removal (very old and big Ash tree) and tree stump removal on other trees on the property went without a hitch. We hired him back for landscaping work. Would definitely hire him again."

"They were excellent. They did excellent quality and they were careful. They gave us exact instructions and they followed up. I thought that the price was reasonable. There's nothing I didn't like. They had to take out my own slabs and they let me come out before they cut it out to make sure that it was the parts that I want which were going to where I wanted it. I got a lot of choices from them compared to others."

"Mike was very nice to work with through the planning process and his crew was professional and hardworking during the completion of the job. Both Mike and his crew worked with my wife and I to make sure that we had exactly what we wanted even if it meant a little more work for them."

"They are one of the bigger companies, and a lot of people in the area use them. I had a fine experience with them. They are certified arborists as well, so they are pretty well trusted as far as their knowledge. They are not really like a fly by night kind of place. They first came and diagnosed what they thought it was. They recommended an insect treatment. It is not really uncommon or a real big problem to get taken care of. We did that, and they came back for a second application. They also gave me an estimate for trimming and pruning that tree as well, which we will probably do in the next year. They charged $85 per application."

"Late in fall 2015 we got serious about transforming our small, boring patio. We had several contractors come out to give us bids, but we only "clicked" with one; Chad Vanderloop! He showed his passion and enthusiasm for transforming our back yard, listened carefully to what we wanted, and worked with one of his associates, Gary Lemke, to come up with a fantastic plan. In late spring of this year, Chad and his great crew did the hardscaping, Gary worked with us on the plants, and we did the planting and mulching ourselves. As you can see from the pictures, the results were spectacular! We are very, very pleased, and are so glad we found Chad to do this transformation, it far exceeded our expectations."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Oshkosh, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
