The repair was necessary due to an error by a previous roofer who installed a new roof four years earlier. "I contacted B&D Roofing as to a possible leak around my chimney. Bill was out the day after I contacted him to inspect. He said the issue was not with a leak around the chimney, but that we actually needed a new chimney cap. Since this was not something he did, he did give us suggestions for contact. Then as a temporary patch, since he did not have the supplies with him then, he came back out twice to caulk the biggest openings (the first time he came back out it was too cold to get the caulk out of the tube). And even with all this, he would not accept any pay.
