"Remarkable Roofing, one of several contractors to contact me about my roofing needs. This is a family-owned business that was responsive to my needs and was very honest and transparent about their philosophy and my roof needs. Originally, I was going to repair part of the roof, but it became apparent the last roofer (23+ yr prior) failed to install several key items. Mark picked up on these issues (reinforced on the install by his boys). For this reason, I opted to replace the whole roof. Remarkable Roofing was the lowest bid, which included the replacement of a gutter on the upper roof by a subcontractor. While Remarkable Roofing may not offer the same "shingle warranty" (ie., extended warrant) some of the other "Master Installers", we do still have the "normal" shingle warranty that will outlive us in the house, but more importantly, we received a 10 yr labor warranty for any issues related to the install vs the shingles. Once the install started, it took a few days, to complete, but that was due to rain and a couple of issues I was happy to comply with. During the install, Mark's crew (his boys and colleagues) were very respectful, kept me informed, cleaned up their mess every day, and ensured the roof was secured at the end of each day's work as we experienced a lot of rain during the install. Overall nice experience and would hire again."

"I recently bought an older home and found the roof was leaking. Being new to the area, Good's Roofing was recommended to me. I called and was very pleased to hear a person answer the phone. She was pleasant, patient and friendly every time I called or came into the office. I told her I had water coming in and scheduled an inspection. Happily, they were able to come out much sooner than planned. He inspected the roof, getting up with a ladder and also the attic. As the roof had been repaired several times it now needed replaced. They were able to do the work quickly which was great since it was the end of November. The crew was polite and hardworking, only stopping once for a short lunch break,and completing the roof in one day. They laid down tarps before starting and cleaned up well but I did find a few nails on the driveway. I called and asked if they could come back and go over the area again with the magnet. They were happy to do it and came back within a few days. Overall I am very satisfied with my new roof and the service and competence of this company. Thank you Good's Roofing!"

"The work itself went well at the time the roof was installed. We were pleased with the quality of the work and the clean up after. The problem came when I contacted them in Jan/Feb 2015 for a leak that had developed. I explained that my husband that is 64 should not get on the roof any longer to see where the problem is, they said that would contact us for an inspection when the weather cleared, it had been very cold and icy. <br /> They never did respond or call to come and inspect the roof. My husband has now been up on the roof twice, and can not find were the leak was coming from, however it has stopped. It may have been ice built up under a ledge, but how do we know?  Don't know if it will start up again this winter, with the ice and snow, but I am very disappointed that no one got back with us. I guess once they get your money, the service stops. You are no longer a priority if you need repairs, or followup service. <br /> Would not recommend this company for this reason. <br />"

"It went very well. I tried "the other guy" but he never followed through like he said he would. I called Ugly Shingles and they were very responsive and did exactly what they said when they said. The guys were friendly and clean cut. Price seemed high, but I did not compare prices with any other roof cleaner. The only thing they didn't do was to call when they were on their way, which I had requested. But I did not have to be home when the roof was cleaned. Roof looks great, too. They cleaned the front half of the roof and I have a small ranch style home."

The installation crew were great guys and kept me updated each day on the progress and what they had done and what they still needed to do. "This was our first experience using Elysium to complete both <br /> interior and exterior painting and repair work. Initially we had only <br /> contracted them to do work on the exterior, being satisfied with the level of <br /> detail and the likability of the crew that we worked with, we opted to sign on <br /> for additional work on the interior of our house. <br /> Exterior: Being new homeowners we wanted to make sure that we were being thorough and getting <br /> the most longevity out of the work that we were investing in. The estimator <br /> that Elysium sent out was very knowledgeable and pointed out failures in the <br /> existing paint job as well as several wood repairs that several other <br /> estimators had failed to recognize. <br />   There were areas of rotten wood concealed by paint, the estimator did <br /> what she called a ?pen? test and took her ink pen and was able to push it <br /> through the fascia boards on our chimney with no effort. This happened on <br /> several areas of the house that other contractors had failed to discover or <br /> address in their estimates. With the discovery of so much carpentry work <br /> needed, we did see a significant increase in the estimate in terms of cost, in <br /> order to have the longest lasting and best-finished product possible the wood <br /> needed to be replaced, had we not received an estimate from Elysium we may have <br /> not discovered the rotten wood until after another contractor had cut corners <br /> in order to give us a lower price point to close the sale. The work itself was <br /> done thoroughly, prep to finish. Between the color change, board replacement <br /> and concise prep and finish work that Elysium did on our place, it looks like a <br /> brand new house. <br /> Interior: <br />   Since we were so pleased with the result of the <br /> work being done on our exterior, we had Kevin and his crew complete additional <br /> work on the interior of our home. The tacky wallpaper that had been in our <br /> kitchen when we moved in needed to go. I was going to attempt to remedy its <br /> existence myself; after several hours off attempting to remove the wallpaper <br /> myself I decided to let the professionals handle it.  Underneath the wallpaper the drywall needed to be repaired <br /> in several areas. Elysium was able to smooth out the wall underneath and apply <br /> a fresh coat of paint. They also painted our 2-story foyer and hallways. Elysium completed a lot of work on our house, and it was a <br /> job well done. I would recommend them for any paint project you?ve got! <br />   <br /> <br />"
