"Vendor did not contact me prior to first treatment, even though I requested them to do so.  Vendor applied to yard even with pets in the yard/have access to the yard (one of the reasons we needed to contact them), and was not clear about the potential danger to pets when we asked them.  No printed information was given to us about this, either.  No advance notice was given for any of the three treatments purchased. <br /> I'm sure we received good lawn care products, and they were timely in the general sense.  But there was no or confusing communication on their part.  We cannot use them again for this reason. <br />"

"They are very professional. However, they are quite expensive ($900 for 8 treatments) and struggle to get the backyard as weed-free as the front. There is night and day difference between the two yards. Their prices increase each year for the same service. Unfortunately, I am forced to start looking for another company with same service."

"Jeremy has been treating my yard and maintaining my irrigation system for over a year now and has improved both significantly. He troubleshooted a couple issues with the system created by the installer and repaired them, and even came out on a Saturday morning to confirm that a separate pipe leak I had wasn’t related to my system. He has also restored the thin spots in my yard and is keeping the lawn free of weeds. He is very knowledgable about different chemicals, grasses and weeds and is great about reminding me when I need to do certain seasonal projects. I highly recommend this company!"

My frustration with TruGreen came from dealing with them around billing issues. On more than one occasion, I thought a matter resolved, just to have to call back and go through the full explanation again. At one point, I had halted service, telling them I would not continue with their service until the billing current billing issues were resolved ... and someone came out to my house just a few days later. Since they frequently provide service even when residents aren't home, I was billed for THAT service, until I initiated ANOTHER dispute. ....The lawn care service itself has been quite good, so we have continued with the company while we watch to see if the billing issues resolve."
