"Awesome customer service and work!!! I have never seen aeration done so well. Our lawn was hard and compact and was left feeling soft to walk on. There were no tubes of dirt all over as I have seen in the past. Would very highly recommend!! We actually hired Blue Cord Property Care for another job before they left the first one due to being so impressed!"

"Steve determined that they did not have the equipment to do the job. And, he even tried to rent equipment to take care of my needs. Unfortunately, none was available. Kudos to Town and Country for going the extra mile in trying to help."

"You don?t find companies like this very often. Over the past <br /> 20 years I have owned several homes that have required multiple renovation and <br /> remediation projects. I have also reviewed contractor bids for a large <br /> condominium association. As a result, I have interviewed and worked with many <br /> contractors in different specialty areas. When I compare GTM against all the <br /> contractors I?ve ever worked with I have to say they are in the top 5%. They <br /> provide everything a homeowner looks for in a contractor: <br /> <ul> <li>Clear, comprehensive, professionally written</li> </ul> <ol> <li>estimates</li> </ol> <ul> <li></li> <li>Excellent, timely communication</li> </ul> <ol> <li>    </li> <li>Meticulous attention to project details and</li> <li>oversight</li> <li> </li> <li>Conscientious and skilled workers</li> <li>    </li> <li>Genuine effort to seek out the best solution to</li> <li>a problem</li> <li>   </li> <li>Use of quality building materials</li> <li>    </li> <li>Fair and transparent pricing</li> </ol> <br /> This is the second time I have used this company. The <br /> recently completed project is step 1 of a multi-phase drainage and patio <br /> renovation. George has been to the house several times to thoroughly evaluate <br /> the long-standing water issues I have and the condition of the patio. He spends <br /> the time to really think through the issue. He is not going to sell the <br /> landscape fad of the month. Extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and creative <br /> about solutions. This is a true tradesman who actually knows his craft and <br /> cares about the job and the outcome.    <br /> I highly recommend GTM. Be aware that this is a small <br /> company where a lot of the estimating and supervisory work is done by a single <br /> person. This means that it may take a while to get to you. If you want your job <br /> done tomorrow, I suspect it?s not likely to happen. You need to be patient, but <br /> it is well worth the wait. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Oxford, PA

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
