"In late July, I hired JNR Landscaping through Angie s List for backyard upgrades. After providing pictures and discussing the project, I paid a deposit. Initially, work progressed smoothly as they cleared the area, laid tarp, and added gravel. However, the gravel was not the light color we had requested. I offered to cover the cost for an additional layer of white stone. The pavers were also poorly installed, loose, and not packed with sand. I have been verbally abused and threatened by the owners of this company and I still need to complete this project. I am now seeking a refund for 100 pavers ($1,200), the spray ($120), and an additional $1,780 to cover labor costs I will incur to hire a new contractor, totaling $3,000."
