"Very well, we had a very large pine in the front of the property that was growing close to the service wires, the tree was trimmed professionally and the limbs removed safely.  Also, other trees (various sizes) were trimmed and two completely removed.Our front yard and back yard was completely clean when the work was completed.  With the large pine thinned out, sunlight is again filtering through to our front lawn and the grass is beginning to grow again.  The workers worked very fast, all the work was completed in a day.

"Now that it's done, there's not a day goes by that I'm not thrilled I hired Melvin to update my gardening! We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a a small garden, as well as a dining and sitting area. Urizar Landscaping redid our front and back yards, and was able to help me pull out our grass, too! In its place is a gorgeous colorful garden with a quaint stone path that runs from one end to another. His workers were courteous and hard-working and the work was done well and efficiently, including removing the day lily, roses, dead sections of the bamboo and all the palm, as well as non-bamboo vegetation among the bamboo from the roots so they would not grow back."

The Job:

    Aeration:  Quick but thorough.  I've done my own aeration in the past so can assess job quality

    Fertilizer:  Applied fertilizer and pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide as part of the service

    Clean-up:  Thoroughly swept all areas around the lawn

    Knowledge:  Very knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding lawn and weed-related issues.  Had a number of valuable suggestions for how we could improve our lawn's soil condition and enhance water retention (water conservation)  

 

Price: 

    Very good.  $72 (including 10% Angie's discount) for approximately 2000 sq ft of lawn

 

I'll definitely be using Rotarea in the future.
