"These guys are just awesome!. My roof developed a leak during the last storms and I reached our to Bill (owner) early in the morning and he sent out his son Chad immediately to assess the situation. They fixed it and are now doing more work on the roof. His son Chad is equally awesome. They are responsive, very communicative, and does quality work. Not much more to ask."

"Making a decision on a contractor for a solar power installation is not an easy or comfortable decision given the investment involved and the relative unfamiliarity of the technology for most people. I used EnergySage to give me a number of quotes, all of which were from non-local companies, but it did give a comparison of pricing and equipment, so it was easy to eliminate those which were expensive or offering panels from less well known equipment manufacturers. I settled on American Array Solar and Roofing who offered Panasonic panels and Enphase inverters at a reasonable installation cost. I assumed there would be snags or hidden costs and I would need to have quotes from other companies but the process that American Array offered was simple, fast and efficient. When I needed some options, the costs were defined upfront and never changed at any time so in the end, there was just no need to try other companies. Communications with Kieran, Adam and Mary were very friendly and efficient. They were always fast in responding to questions. Installation was done very effectively and faster than anticipated. My original target installation date was given as July 18th but it was completed on June 28th. For the service, product and cost that they offer, I would not hesitate to recommend American Array Solar and Roofing."

"Last winter during one of our few rain storms we developed a leak due to rusted out flashing around one of our chimneys. The leak started as a trickle on a Saturday morning and by Monday had spread to several leaks throughout our kitchen and family room. Stars and Stripe's pricing was fair and slightly lower after receiving numerous quotes to do the job. Once we made the decision to use Stars and Stripes, we were swiftly placed on a schedule to perform the repairs. A crew of four men worked on our home for a full three days to complete the roofing job. Then, a separate crew of two men followed up to install about 25 feet of new gutters and downspouts around a Portico at the entrance of our home. All work was done on time and looks beautiful. The quality of the work appears top notch. The jobsite was left clean and orderly during the procedure as well as once complete. I am looking forward to a wet winter to make sure that the leaks will be gone for good."

"Steve did an excellent job redoing our main bathroom. He offered advice in choosing the cabinets, countertop and sink. He handled the removal and disposition of the old materials and the installation of the new. He is attentive to detail, a fine craftsman and a polite gentleman. I highly recommend him."

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"I got several bids. All several thousand $$ higher. Michael Lambert, the owner, was recommended by my accountant. Michael is a professional and a nice guy. He is patient and thorough. He was willing to work with some other guys who were helping put in sky lights, solar tubes, and repairing dry rot. He made sure the whole project went smoothly from beginning to end. There was not one concern or question I had that he didn't answer clearly, respectfully, and politely. Many guys will be kind of snotty or patronizing to women who need home improvement services and ask what may seem like "dumb" questions. Not Michael. My new roof looks fantastic! <br />"

"<p>Max Baggett is a great guy to work with, friendly and accommodating. He always got back to me in a timely manner when I called and explained clearly what he was going to do so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He's not inexpensive but he tries to keep cost down as much as possible while still giving you good quality work. I expect the workmanship will last many, many years. He and his crew did a first rate job in upgrading my 1950's home. He gave excellent advice and if he wasn't sure on some decorating point he admitted it. The kitchen hadn't had any work done on it since the 1960's. The first job I had done was the 3/4 wall height paneling I had installed in the kitchen eating area. It looks like something from a craftsman house. It instantly added interest in the kitchen. The next thing was replacing the formica counters in the kitchen with silestone. I also had a tumbled marble back splash put in at the same time to match the silestone counters. I am very happy with the results.</p> <p>After that was remodeling the bathroom, also from the early 1960's. It was gutted. When replacing some walls it was found to have extensive termite damage, almost all the wood had been eaten where the bathroom window was. The only thing holding it up was the outside of the house! Max took me personally to pick out the bathroom sink stone top at a small stone yard so I didn't need to buy a huge piece, I appreciated that a lot. So I saved money there. His talented work crew did a bang up job installing the tile in the room.</p> <p>The next to the last job done was evening and replacing all the floors in the house. The kitchen floor wasn't the same height as the adjoining floors and people would trip going in or out of the kitchen. That was fixed. The carpet in the living room and bedrooms was over 40 years old and was replaced with a dark hardwood floor including the hallway. New carpeting was installed in the bedrooms. Crown molding was installed throughout the house. The crown molding looks especially outstanding in the hallway.</p> <p>The last thing done was installing a gas insert and covering the original brick fireplace with green marble. I kept the original wood mantel. The fireplace is a fantastic focal point of the room now.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>If I should need any more work done I would definitely have Max do the work as it is top quality.</p> <br />"
