"I contacted Anderson Lawn Care through Angie's List about a property I had listed for sale. They responded in less than 5 minutes, went to the house the same day and gave me a price that evening after hours. I was very impressed by the responsiveness and the price was very reasonable. I asked them to make sure the yard was cut as needed throughout the summer so that it looked good to potential buyers. They sent regular bills once a month and only charged for one or two cuts at a time which was perfect since I was trying to sell and wasn't sure how long I would need to maintain the yard. Towards the end of the season I got a renter in the house and contacted Anderson Lawn care about any final bills. They responded quickly, thanked me for the business and asked if there was anything else they could provide. I would definitely recommend them and was very impressed with the customer service they offer. They made my life easy and I didn't have to ever worry about whether the job was getting done or not. <br />"

"Ace was fairly quick to come out for the estimate. Prices were reasonable. Josh told me up front that it would take approximately four weeks to come out, which was fine. They came out the first time as scheduled, however they only trimmed 50% of the trees on the estimate. I waited two weeks and called back when no one contacted me or showed back up. This lead to ~4 more weeks of back and forth through at least five phone calls to finally receive confirmation that the crew would come out to finish, as apparently that day they had been pulled away for another job. In the interim Mike came out to grind the stumps. Was very nice and noted that the company was experiencing growing pains which lead to the delay. When the crew finally came out, they crashed their truck through into the side of the house knocking the garage door a few inches into the garage and damaging the brick and garage door frame. This lead to two visits by their contractor aka Josh's best friend to fix the damage. So, finally after nearly four months from the original estimate and multiple days of having to work from home to accommodate repairs, my trees are trimmed and my garage door is somewhat back to normal. Josh refused to offer any discount off of the estimate despite my headaches, so although the crew was friendly and seemed to do a good job on the trees, the liability and hassle will force me to look elsewhere moving forward, as tree trimmers are a dime a dozen in Birmingham. I'd suggest others do the same."

"The estimate process went very well. The estimator was knowledgeable, courteous and low pressure. As far as the treatment: they certainly spent the time and effort that you would think was required for the job; but I can't judge how well they did their job. Only time will tell."

"<p>The work was done in 3 installments over 2-3 months and the quality was very good. Great service. We are very happy with the results.</p> <p>Communication and scheduling could be improved - we talked to one person and another person would do the scheduling and sometimes details and information would get lost due to miscommunication. The crew might show up on a day we weren't expecting them; but we understand that in this business some jobs need to be juggled and moved to a different day because of the weather.</p> <p>A bit on the pricey side, but we appreciate that they accepted the job. "Gary Durant is honest and will tell you like he sees it and do what he says he will <br /> He been providing me service for about 7 years. <br /> He's available to speak with about problems and will customize your service as needed. <br /> He will try to notify you of any problems he discovers while providing his service. <br /> He offers a termite service which I didn't have done b/c I signed on with others. I would have preferred to let him handle it. <br /> He offers lawn pest treatment for additional fee which has kept our bugs down in the yard."

"I purchased the $399 special that was offered through Angie's List. It allowed for up to 40 square feet of floor or backsplash and theoretically included $80 for tile. I purchased my tile from Home Depot separately and provided the grout. They showed up as expected and the tile work itself looks great. The problems arose when I noticed that none of the plugs and switches had been completed and most of the covers and one of the plugs had actually been destroyed. I had to complete that part of the job myself as well as cleaning up around the edges of the tile work where corner strips and such had been removed. this was a bit of a problem in the the tile around the plugs and switches had to be modified to make them fit, and nothing I had would cut the tile. My last problem with this vendor is that I have after repeated contacts still not received the $80 back for the tile credit. As they ignore my emails and when I have caught them on the phone, they have either told me there is no credit or the checks in the mail, I don't expect them to make good on this debt."

"Lawn Rangers mowed and took care of our lawn all last summer. He is always very professional gets the job done quickly.  He is also very honest and a good person. He does a really great job. We recently had him come and treat our lawn for weeds too. We have rental properties and Lawn Rangers will be taking care of  all of them this year. He gave us a very reasonable price to take care of all seven of our lots. We are very pleased with his service."
