"Steve got back to me immediately and came within a few days. His bid was significantly less than other bids- I got 6 or more. When I contacted him by email to say I was signing and returning the contract, he replied that it would probably be next month because they were so busy, but that the city forester knew their work and would give an extension if needed. However, he called soon after and said they could come the next day, if that worked for us. They cut down the tree, chipped the branches and left the large logs, which they came and removed the next day or so. I got another call that they could come and grind the stump the following day, which they did. Wonderful work, great price, no complaints. Will use them again."

"Overpriced.  They charged $250.00 over the phone unseen for work that took about 20-30 minutes. Then I was quoted $580.00 to get my system up and running. I found a pebble in one of the sprinkler containers that was the reason for the zone not shutting down. Removing the stone fixed the zone problem. I believe that perhaps the stone was there from the 250.00 work to fix the 4 broken pcv pipes. I had the sprinkler system working with the help of a friend. I did not have to spend 580.00 to get it running. Really.....$150.00 to fix the issue with the zone not shutting down? A simple removal of a pebble fixed that issue. I'm angry about the expensive quote. Will not consider this company in the future. The tech was knowledgeable and very personable, but needs help on quoting. .02"

"They didn't have a voice mail for me to leave a msg at my first attempt to call but when I did reach someone they were very courteous and helpful. They did a quick diagnosis of our pine trees and completed the first treatment within a few days of starting the service. I still haven't seen improvement on the color of the trees but since they are pine trees I believe I have to wait to see if new needles will not be damaged by the mites."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Palmer Lake, CO

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
