"I received 3 quotes for the job and Armor roofing was very competitive with their quote so we chose them for the job. Many factors went into our choice of roofer such as type of shingles, how soon could the job be done, personal supervision of the job by the owner, Steve Kelly, and keeping us up to date on when the job was in line to be done. All went well and the crew worked fast and steady and cleaned up as they worked. We also had the advantage of seeing this crew work before as they did our neighbors roof earlier this year. All went well and we were very satisfied with every aspect of this job."

"This was a rush job because my existing insurance carrier declined to renew my hazard insurance policy--they claimed to be trimming their portfolio in Florida.  I found out at the 11th hour from my Insurance agent that my roof had reached an age (20 yrs) that made getting a new policy impossible.  If I wanted insurance I had to re-roof my house.  I had only 30 days to have everything completed and inspected in time to get a new policy before my existing insurance would lapse. <br /> After checking Angie's List I narrowed my choices down to three companies.  I called Specialty Roofers and within an hour I received a call back from Brian Vickery.  Brian agreed to complete the inspection the at the earliest time I had available and had an estimate to me the same day he inspected the roof.   Brian showed up on time and did everything he said he would.  He spent a lot of time explaining my options, answering my questions, and taking care of logistics.  He also agreed to provide a windstorm mitigation inspection when the roof was completed.   <br /> Specialty Roofer's price was higher than the other estimate I received by $1000, but Brian's customer service and dependability were  so exceptional, I felt I could count on him to get this job done on time and done well.  So I awarded the job to Specialty Roofers.   <br /> Brian immediately got my job on the schedule for the Wednesday following the Thursday he completed the estimate.  Cathy, who took care of all the billing and accounting, was very efficient and helpful and after an upfront payment of half the estimated cost,  Brian arranged for the dumpster to be delivered and the roofing materials, communicating with me on everything.  And, when the crew finished up another job early he rescheduled my re-roof for a day earlier than originally scheduled. The crew arrived on time and were very well-mannered and courteous.  They worked fast, finishing the job in 2 days.  They cleaned up thoroughly, magnetically sweeping the whole area to be sure nothing remained behind, and Brian arranged for the dumpster to be removed in a timely manner.   <br /> Brian was true to his word on everything--there were no surprises because he managed the project so well.  I would definitely  recommend Specialty Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or any type of roof repair.  They are honest and professional and they definitely exceeded my expectations. <br />"

"Extremely well. I had contacted several companies/contractors for estimates for a new roof. The estimates were provided in a timely manner. However, the time for the actual work was a problem. You see our homeowners insurance company was leaving Florida and the new insurance carriers felt a new roof was needed and gave us less than two weeks to complete. During this time, we checked on Angie’s List. In less than three hours, Joe McGinnis with Renewpro responded. Joe come by, looked at what was needed and gave us an estimate. "I was contacted by the office staff to make arrangements for the roof repair. Communication was excellent. They crew arrived when they said and began work immediately. The old shingles were removed shortly after noon of the first day. Several sheets of OSB needed to be replaced because of rotten spots. I saw each one and new each needed replacement. The crew did a great job of removing and replacing each sheet. By the end of the first day all OSB along with, the new felt material was placed upon the roof, plus the crew began the metal eaves drips. Before the end of the second day the new shingles were all replaced."

"Neligan's crew came to my home just before hurricane Ian passed by northeastern Florida. They told me that they would remove my old roof and totally replace it BEFORE the hurricane could do any damage. They started working on Monday morning and by that evening the roof was completely replaced. They removed the old roof, fixed the damaged decking, re-nailed the entire roof decking to meet Florida's new standards, applied water and ice underlayment, then nailed down the new shingles on the entire roof. This allowed my roof to meet the wind mitigation rules to be eligible for an insurance discount. To make the deadline the crew worked like a well oiled machine with professionalism. They even completely cleaned up the debris and swept for nails around my home. The price for this service was in line with other bids I received from other roofing companies.
