Conrad was very helpful in helping us make final design decisions, especially on picking the paver block style and color. He also promptly addressed all of me concerns, even though they were mostly minor. His crew also worked with me to get the final outline of the patio, with many curves. "I wish I could give this company a wonderful review. But, that is not going to be the case. Our System Pavers salesman, Mr. Mike Ammenwerth, took care of drawing up the plans. He was nice enough... However, communicating with him afterward was, in fact, a challenge in itself. We signed the contract for our Paver project, which included Pergola Patio Cover, which turned out to be a separate project. We were assigned a couple of *project managers*... First, it was Beau Johnston, the Repair Technician, who had to be pulled off the job, then it was Mr. Zakk Schot who ended up being our primary point-of-contact for the majority of the project. We also had interaction with the company Contraction Manager, Mr. Frank Gori. All in all... Communication was spotty at best throughout this experience (with the exception of dealing with Zakk). The Pergola patio cover became an issue as time went on. We advised Mike Ammenwerth that we wanted additional shade than we were receiving from our existing wooden patio cover. Mike told us *no problem* and recommended the Pergola. Well, the Pergola, once it was installed, sat higher (taller) with a less angle and, frankly, provided less shade (or really no shade) when we compared it to our old patio cover. It is attractive looking without question... However, now we have to install roll down shades to the sides and front of our beautiful patio cover. Not what we expected at all. Our patio cover faces to the South. So... Be very much aware of which side of the house YOU intend on the installation of the very same product. Had I done more research on companies that perform this very same type of service, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of money. System Pavers profit markup is outrageous (I found out after-the-fact). The company itself only hires subcontractors for their work. The paver subcontractor (Mr. Rozival Sousa of Paver Performance, Lic #1060961) asked me what I paid for our paving contract... He gave me a *look*, then told me that he could have done it for half the price with the very same material and guarantees. Lesson learned. This company depends on the ignorance of the client. The subcontractor, and his team, did a reasonably nice job with our paving project. However, they were very sloppy with the concrete residue left behind on all edges of the paver boundaries. They also left lots of rock and sand that we had to clean up. We filled 3 large trash cans and still had more to go. Some sprinkler pipes were broken as well... However, those were repaired. For the price I (we) paid for this construction project, I certainly expected more attention to detail when it was all said and done. Would recommend this company to someone else? Probably not. Do your research! More importantly, take several bids from various companies. You will eventually discover that System Pavers is way overpriced."

"Adrian got the work done fast and it turned out really well. He was able to clean up my yard that was a mess, haul out soil, haul in new soil, add a weed barrier, and install the sod in a couple days. He was able to work with the existing sprinkler system."

"Francisco came on time to give me a very fair price to extend a brick patio, replace some flagstone and repair a low brick wall. His workers were efficient and did an excellent job, going over and beyond the the job tasks requested. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards and removing debris. I highly recommend him."

"I had a 25 year old patio with a salt finish and stamped concrete. There was a small lawn connecting 2 slabs. Manny removed the lawn area and replaced it with concrete that matched the old patio perfectly. I would definitely use this company again. The patio looks beautiful."

"Jeff Goldman is to home patios as Pavarotti is to opera. He is an artist that is unique in this industry. In need of a new deck, I called three different contractors. One never returned my call. One came out and showed me what I considered to be inferior materials for the project. The last contractor to come out was Jeff. Not only was he on time, but he came prepared. Samples of nearly component that go into a patio cover. Prices. Ideas: originally, we were going to just replace the deck. But Jeff suggested another way to go, that would in effect increase the utility of the downstairs patio. Great idea. And great execution, now that it is built. Jeff?s crew is polite, and they leave a clean worksite at the end of the day. Jeff is involved in every stage of the process, and we had a final ?walk-through inspection? prior to final payment. Jeff knows this business thoroughly (it is a family business), and it is clear that he enjoys what he does. He has a showroom in Tustin that is worth going to for ideas. Patios by B&B receives my highest rating. If you need a patio, deck, or anything patio related, Jeff should be your first contact."

"Working with the Rep was somewhat of a headache. One walkway was next to a ceramic tiled patio. They cracked 6 tiles. The Rep's response: my workers do not lay tiles. After many discussions, I fixed it myself and received some compensation. I had to be present the full time of laying the pavers in order to correct mistakes. Along the same walkway, there was a row of edging stones that looked like a snake after the pavers were laid. After much discussion they were straightened. A really sore point is the clean up after the job was done. Along another walkway, a lot of the diggings were left on either side of the walkway. I had to clean it up. Lastly, the Rep and I had an agreement that I would give him a check for full payment with the understanding that he would not deposit the check until I notified him that I had procured the funds and they were available in my checking account. He decided to deposit the check before the funds were available resulting in an overdraft charge of $30.00 to me. To date, he refuses to reimburse me for the breaking of our agreement."
