"The initial job he did for us was to repair and paint a wall and fix a couple of front steps. The work was performed well and we were satisfied. We had some daylight between us for about a year. We currently have a damaged concrete back porch and after he gave us quotes to either repair or replace it; alternatively build a deck. We spoke to other deck builders (NOT THRU ANGI) and decided not to do the deck. I then contacted Kevin and told him we were interested in replacing the porch and were planning on using Anytime to replace the porch for an initial quote of 16K. He said he would work on a written proposal. I/we informed him that our town preferred he pull the permits. He has ignored our request to date. Also, we informed him that we also had other masonry work. After reading one of his bad reviews, I think he does not want to give a written proposal. Hence the OK rating. We are in no hurry to replace the porch, but to ignore us now seems fishy. LETTING OUR ANGI LAPSE IN AUGUST."
