So we called ABC (the A-I answerer was weird and we couldn’t ask what it would cost!) and the excellent electrician Marcus came out. Turns out that the stove top is just a bit too large for the marble rectangle so he could not drop it in, but he hooked it up on top so we could use it until someone can come shave the marble enough.
