"This was the first major project I've had done since buying my house, but Roof Right made the process smooth and easy to understand. I met with roof specialist Randy Harden for the estimate and he continued to be my main point of contact throughout the whole project. He was very thorough and gave me a lot of information on roofing in general, as well as the specific options that Roof Right offered. I ended up choosing a specific kind of roof vent and deciding to put off the gutter work for now, and I never felt pressured to add more services. This job was estimated to take 1 to 1.5 days and that was correct (nearly all of it was completed the first day, although the crew came back for an hour or so the next morning). The on-site crew was polite and efficient and did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard after the work was done. In addition, both the roof specialist and a project manager came to the house twice to check the work being done, once on the first day and then once after the work had been completed. The roof looks good and I'm already seeing improvements in the cooling/temperatures on the second floor. Roof Right also offers financing through Service Finance Company, and they gave several different options for loan terms and rates, so I chose the one that worked best for my budget."

"After seeing several water spots on my ceilings, I called two roofing companies to evaluate. One recommended an inexpensive solution for a few minor repairs. Jay from Home Wise recommended a full replacement. After a lengthy discussion to try to understand why the disparity, I went with Jay and full replacement. When my shingles were removed it was just like Jay said - multiple areas of excessive water damage with many pieces of plywood being replaced. The inexpensive repair would have been a complete waste of money. The work went smoothly and I have a beautiful new roof. I highly Recommend Jay and his team. "This team is amazing! It all began when we had those heavy rains at the end of July. Something told me to go into my attic and check things out. Sure enough, I discovered two leaks at the crown of the roof, and it was then I decided to make the call over to Fichtner, because I already knew these folks were amazing based on all of the positive reviews (and the work they had done on the house prior to me moving in). As the day of heavy rain went on, my leaks got worse. I took some photos and sent it over to one of the members (this was midnight), and they came back at 6:30 the next morning to make a temp repair...which had held up well (even considering that the storms just kept coming for a while). Several weeks later, I finally have an amazing new roof (and shed roof as well), and the neighbors love it. I couldn't be more happier, and now (for a long time) I won't have to worry about the roof. I had heard that they can be hard to book since the are so in demand. I waited about 3 weeks for the job to get done, which was a little less than the time they told me before I signed the contract. The team was very professional and worked extremely hard to finish my rather large, multi-leveled roof in a day. They installed a "chimney" to replace the ungly old metal one. It has a brick facade and greatly exceeded my expectations. On other thing stood out. "Welsh Roofing installed my new 2,400 square foot roof on March 20, 2019. I found them first in Howard County's Best Pick Report, and then cross-referenced with Angie's List. I got two other estimates, and Welsh was the least expensive. I dealt exclusively with Jack for the entire project. He came out and provided the initial estimate and was onsite for the majority of the installation. Jack was a pleasure to deal with. He responded quickly to my questions and worked with me to schedule the install at a time convenient for me. Jack and his 5-man crew showed up on-time at 7AM and began to strip the roof. Everything around the perimeter of the house was covered to protect from falling debris — shrubs, air conditioner, deck. Deck and patio furniture were moved out of the way. The shingles were delivered and craned onto the roof by 9AM. They worked throughout the day. The roof was installed, site cleaned up, and everyone gone by 4PM. No damage to the lawn, landscaping, or any other part of the house. The project went exactly as it was promised. I am completely satisfied. I would use Welsh again, and would recommend them to others."
