"They started my patio project last summer and never returned to complete it. I paid in full for the project and they told me they would return in a week or so to complete it but never showed. I sent multiple text messages and still no-show. Would not recommend this company."

"Did a great job, but once they were paid would not call me back with the other questions I had, so make sure you don't need them for anything else. Once they are paid they seem to not respond to emails, texts or phone calls. What a shame!"

"This man is a genuine con artist and a thief! Avoid this person like a plague! He is a jack of all trades and master of NONE! I hired him to dredge my canal, so he claims to do more than just landscaping, but he left before finishing the job but was paid in full. He also took a $2500 deposit to install a boat lift over a year ago but NEVER did the job. He comes up with a million excuses , but NEVER does the job. I will be filing felony charges against Mr. Doug De Luca!"

How Local Guy Lawn Care LLC came to be. My mom was paying someone to do her lawn for about $45 bi weekly. Seem like they was here for about 10mins doing the yard. So one day I told her to go buy a lawn mower and weedeater and I will come over and do it for her. Save her lots of money, well over time I ended up getting a few of the neighbors yards as well. One of my customers didnt speak English very well. He would always say, Local Guy you come cut my yard for me. Well it just kinda stuck so ended up using that name. Since I was right around the corner just kinda made sense. So from that push mower and weedeater I started my company. Little by little I built and established my customers and equipment. I drive on quality and customer service. Now today I have over $30,000 invested in my commercial equipment, and still have every customer I originally started with. Im not trying to get rich just an honest work for an honest pay. I enjoy getting feed back from the customers, seeing where we can approve the customer relationships. FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Pascagoula, MS

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
